Little Harrison, Psycho Supervillain?
It appears that the creators of Young & Restless are setting up little Harrison to become the next psycho supervillain in the series.
A keen observer on Reddit highlighted an intriguing point: the boy’s biological mother is currently incarcerated. He mistakenly believes that his real mother is Summer Newman (last portrayed by Alison Lanier), who has left him behind to start a new life in Italy.
Harrison yearns for Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) to take on the role of his mother, but she seems more interested in enjoying herself with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
To add to the drama, his grandmother has returned from the dead-actually, both of his grandmothers have!
The Most Important Maternal Figure In Harrison’s Life Is Mrs. Martinez?
One Reddit user remarked, “The most important maternal figure in his life is Mrs. Martinez (last played by Margarita Franco), who is apparently kept chained up in the kitchen by Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
What a sad situation for that poor child!” Another user chimed in, “In fact, two of his grandmothers have pretended to die,” referring to Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Newman ( Michelle Stafford).
Additionally, the man he believed to be his father at the beginning of his life has also passed away. It seems that Harrison is destined to grapple with significant issues related to both his mother and father.
The CBS Soap Is In Dire Need Of Some Fresh Psychos
The Young and the Restless is in dire need of some fresh psychos. Headwriter Josh Griffith appears to have a penchant for nut-of-the-week storylines, and he has already eliminated characters like Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
On the flip side, he has brought back Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and unleashed the formidable Ian Ward (Ray Wise) onto Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) fragile psyche.
To keep the drama alive, he might have to resurrect David Kimble (Michael Corbett) from the dead or perhaps boost the soap’s hairspray budget to facilitate the return of Brad Carlton’s (Don Diamont) former stalker, Lisa Mansfield (Lynnne Harbaugh).
Harrison Could Be SORASED Into The Most Terrifying Junior Varsity Maniac Since Max Rayburn
Alternatively, the executive producer could choose to SORAS Harrison into the most terrifying junior varsity maniac since Ben “Stitch” Rayburn’s (Sean Carrigan) son, Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze).
Max once set a tripwire to ensure that his stepmother, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), would suffer a miscarriage. What are your thoughts on this, considering everything he’s gone through, remembering Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) childhood? Surely, there’s no way Harrison can come out of his tumultuous upbringing without some scars, right?
