That’s because the character shockingly passed away in 2024 at the hands of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Still, there’s good news for fans of Hofer, as he recently announced a primetime gig he snagged. More details below.
Instagram Worthy
Hofer hopped on Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself, standing next to a 9-1-1: Nashville poster on a street. In the caption, he wrote, “Watch @911nashville Thursday night? Love, E.”
Fellow GHers hit the comment section, with Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson) writing, “IM WATCHING FOR E!!” In addition, GH alum, Michael Easton (ex-Dr. Hamilton Finn) commented with, “Definitely” (and three handclap emojis).
The GH alum is slated to appear on the Thursday, February 26 episode of the primetime show, titled ‘Don Begins’.
The show will focus on Don Hart’s (Chris O’Donnell) life following a terrible housefire and how it reshaped it. It also details how he met Blythe Hart (Jessica Capshaw) and Dixie Bennings (LeAnn Rimes).
In addition, Station 113 takes quick action when a cyclist gets hit by a vehicle and finds himself pinned against a tree.
Evan Hofer Is Back
Dex Heller entered PC in 2022 as a mole hired by Michael Corithos (now played by Rory Gibson, then played by Chad Duell) to infiltrate his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), organization in order to send him to prison.
Dex would eventually fall in love with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), leave that post, and become a police officer for the PCPD, only to be murdered by Cyrus.
While this 9-1-1: Nashville appearance marks the first time Hofer will be back on television since he left General Hospital, this isn’t the first time he’s been on primetime.
Hofer has had roles in Kickin’ It, Modern Family, Swedish Dicks, and Lethal Weapon – just to name a few.
