While she didn’t exactly storm out, Lucy left on bad terms, leaving Sidwell perplexed as to what she might have expected from him when she laid an ultimatum in his lap — Choose: Her, or Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Sidwell made it quite clear that he doesn’t entertain such demands, and he thought that would be enough for Lucy to lay down her arms.
Instead, she stuck to her principles and high-tailed it out there, possibly rueing the day he set foot in Port Charles.
She promised Sidwell would be sorry, but who will actually end up being the target of Lucy’s pursuit of vengeance?
Lucy the Loser
Well, that didn’t go the way she was expecting it to. In fact, I’m not sure it could have gone any worse than when Sidwell looked at Lucy and told her there must be some sort of misunderstanding.
He wasn’t about to choose, nor was he open to considering the idea that Ava isn’t good enough for him to spend his time with.
It looked like Sidwell caught Lucy off guard when she offered to fill him in on Ava’s skeletons and he told her he’s acutely aware of Ava’s past — and hers.
Ava handled herself with complete grace opting out of this exchange and trusting that she didn’t need to stick around to fight for representation.
GH Spoilers Tease She Means Business
Lucy is keen on making sure that Sidwell knows he made a mistake by not choosing her over Ava.
To be honest, anyone who’s been paying attention should be able to see how much more time Sidwell has been spending with Ava than with Lucy. Moreover, they seem to have far more shared interests.
To me, it felt like Sidwell has been brushing Lucy off ever since he first came to town. She just comes on too darn hard.
But if she thinks Lucy chasing him was tough, wait until he finds out how hard she goes when she loses.
What Lies Ahead?
Lucy might mean business, and she may be intent on making sure Sidwell pays for offending her, but she also seems pretty set on seeing to it that she can stick it to Ava.
Poor Ava, she held her head high during that sparring match with Lucy in Sidwell’s living room.
She knew when to leave, and she was comfortable enough to know she wasn’t going to lose Sidwell’s attention just because Lucy said so.
Will Lucy be able to move past this with any semblance of the grace that Ava served up, or is she about to dig the hole deeper for herself? Will Sidwell become enemy number one, or is Ava up first? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
