Fans Spot This Character Error With Mariah
That’s because it seemed to be a little too easy for Mariah to just swoop into Devon’s (Bryton James) home and take Dominic with her.
A lot of people have pointed out that very expensive homes, especially in the posh city of Genoa City, have the kind of security and cameras that the best money can buy. You’d think that would be the case at Devon’s home, right?
Yet, Mariah managed to do what she did and not one single person saw her? That doesn’t seem to be very believable.
Clearly, The Young and the Restless fans did have a lot to say about the matter and where this storyline might possibly be going.
Some even took to social media to write, “The Chancellor house doesn’t have a security fence surrounding the property? Or a gatehouse with an armed guard to address guests?”
What’s Next For Dominic?
“Same with the Newman compound. Absolutely anyone can walk up to Victor’s flimsy glass front door and look at him face-to-face sitting in his chair. Such an easy mark.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “Isn’t Devon a billionaire! No cameras. And Mariah just happens to have a car, plenty of money???”
And then there was this comment as well: “I feel bad for the actors that have to work with this stupid storyline. I can only imagine how they are rolling their eyes after every cut. The writers have really let these.actors down.”
And while there will always be eagle-eyed fans who will look for the smallest clues on the show, if there’s one thing that we can all agree on right now, it’s that Dominic needs to be brought home safely, with or without the cameras on at home.
