The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Intervenes as Deacon’s Truth Is About to Explode

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wants to protect her mother.

But Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) has a rebound crush on Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that seemingly puts many people in Sheila Carter Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) retaliation path.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) dropped Taylor last year after agreeing to remarry her. While Budig’s character made a rushed push for that reunion, Ridge shares blame for allowing their reconnection to go as far as it did.

Meanwhile, Steffy recently became aware that her mother was incredibly involved with Deacon. The naive approach that Taylor and Deacon are taking in being together has blocked them from seeing that Sheila’s wrath is unavoidable.

So, Steffy will forcefully warn her mother to end it with Deacon. But emotion generally overrides logic when it comes to matters of the heart.

Brooke Logan Forrester Got What She Wanted

It’s been a staple of this soap for decades. Taylor wants Ridge; he’ll give her time when a blowout with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) inevitably happens. Then, he scurries back to his Logan, not meaning Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) emerging fashion house.

Brooke is used to getting Ridge back because she’s done it many times before. After their initial divorce, they’ve remarried an unbelievable eight times.

What type of couple would be married a total of nine times?

A kind assessment would say that true love wins. A balanced critique would label Ridge, Brooke, and their mashed togetherness, which is known as Bridge, as dysfunctional.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Wants To Protect Her Mother

Taylor would have saved herself from additional heartbreak if she had read the soapy room in recent years. The recast to Budig implied that a fresh take on the Taylor-Ridge relationship was coming.

The above was realized, but it took Taylor being diagnosed with broken heart syndrome, Ridge convincing himself that he could break from Brooke, and Lang’s character securing her destiny again.

Steffy didn’t want her mother to be hurt when reconciling with her father. Yet, that happened.

Now, Steffy is desperate to prevent her mother from being targeted by Sheila. This is hardly a far-fetched prediction due to Sheila’s violent history. But the pull Deacon and Taylor have toward each other is preventing the logical parts of their brains from being influential.

Deacon Sharpe Has Convinced Himself Otherwise

Deacon decided that enough was enough after he learned that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was alive. He used that specific plot line as a jumping-off point.

A segment of the audience may think that the Deacon-Taylor storyline was only possible because Kanan’s character was written to overreact. However, one must suspend disbelief often in daytime so that the unlikely flows.

That’s what Deacon is doing. He’s choosing to suspend his belief, thinking that Sheila will be mad and then get over it.

How often has Brown’s notorious villain ever done that?

Marrying Deacon stabilized Sheila. Withholding information about Luna was something Deacon could have worked through with a therapist other than Taylor. But viewers have suspended disbelief about Deacon’s choice then as well.
