Cullum Was Frustrated About The Number Of People In The Loop
When Cullum first appeared on GH, he expressed his frustration to Sidwell about too many people learning about their activities. Cullum referred to the explosion at the Five Poppies and complained about Dalton involving the police in his lab break-in before he went missing.
Since this was a private discussion, Cullum had no reason to be vague.
If Cullum had known that Dalton was dead, he likely would have mentioned it at that time. Additionally, Cullum later arranged a meeting to question Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) about Dalton’s possible location.
Lulu Told Cullum They Assumed Dalton Skipped Town
Lulu mentioned that they believed Dalton left to escape facing charges related to Rocco’s setup, to which Cullum responded that it made as much sense as anything else.
Cullum might have been testing Rocco and Lulu to ensure they were unaware, but it’s also possible he genuinely wants to locate Dalton and resolve this issue.
Naturally, Sidwell might not be able to hide Dalton’s grim fate indefinitely. How will Cullum respond when he hears that news? The news of Dalton’s death will likely please Cullum, as he clearly views Dalton as a troublesome fool who jeopardized their entire operation.
Dalton Had To Be Dealt With, There Was No Question About That
Dalton was aware of all the secrets, so he had to be dealt with. However, the main concern will be Sidwell’s discretion and how he manages the fallout from Dalton’s death. Cullum dislikes being left out of crucial information and may take out his anger on Sidwell because of it.
As the corrupt director of the European division of the WSB, Cullum is arguably more influential than Sidwell. While Sidwell may believe they are partners in this, Cullum appears to be more of the leader!
Sidwell Kept Cullum Out Of The Loop And Used Dalton’s Murder As Leverage
In addition to keeping Cullum in the dark, Sidwell exploited Dalton’s death to control Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Cullum would be furious if he learned that Sidwell concealed Dalton’s body in Mayor Collins’ trunk and used it for a complicated blackmail plot with Port Charles’ notorious mob boss. If this gets out, Cullum could lash out at Sidwell for taking reckless risks.
This could jeopardize their operation and draw unwanted scrutiny, particularly concerning Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project. General Hospital spoilers suggest that Cullum might threaten to get rid of Sidwell next if he doesn’t start obeying the rules and disclosing everything. Meanwhile, Sidwell may need to work harder to fix things or face the same fate as Dalton!

As I am not sure of Cullum’s exact position in the Sidwell madness, not sure of how he would react about Sidwell killing Dalton. So much more about this story line other than Sidwell bullying people around needs to be revealed in my opinion.
