Might Electra be the unhinged one, and Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) be the one who’s really sane?
Electra Acts Different With Everyone
Electra’s unpredictable actions change based on who is present with her; is Melissa Dylan completely blameless, and does Electra have personal issues that require attention? From the moment Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) invited Melissa Dylan to stay in the guest house above his garage, Electra showed signs of inconsistency.
Alright, that seems a bit paranoid, but it’s just a one-time thing-then this week, it happened again, and it was much more intense; what is truly happening with Electra?
Earlier this month, around the episodes from January 1st and 2nd, after Will offered Dylan a place to stay, she expressed her gratitude to him and Electra-she was very thankful.
She has been living in her car; Dylan kindly told Electra, “Thank you so much,” and mentioned that she is happy Electra has found such a nice person like Will.
Dylan Was Very Thoughtful And Respectful
When Dylan was telling her story to Will and Electra, they reassured her that she had come to the right people because they genuinely care-these wealthy individuals in Malibu truly care.
However, other issues began to surface; when Will first suggested the spare room to Dylan, she initially declined, mentioning she wouldn’t feel comfortable staying there unless Electra was also present. By the way, Electra is a fully grown adult whom Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) has advised against staying over at Will’s too often-as if Ivy has any authority to comment.
Anyway, when Dylan said she wouldn’t feel comfortable without Electra being there, that was very thoughtful and respectful-she was staying in her lane. Even if Dylan finds Will attractive, she didn’t leap at the opportunity to be close to him without his girlfriend around.
Dylan Was Overjoyed About The Room Over The Garage
When Dylan was shown the room above the garage, she felt immense joy-she hugged Will to express her gratitude, but Electra was present, and it was completely innocent.
However, once Will left to go surfing and it was just Dylan and Electra, the atmosphere shifted; with Will overhearing, Electra stated, “We need to help Dylan-she’s my friend.” But after Will departed, her demeanor changed drastically-immediately, Dylan expressed to Electra how kind Will was for allowing her to stay there.
Instead of agreeing, Electra became confrontational right away. She informed Dylan that she couldn’t stay there for long because even the most generous hosts don’t want guests for an extended period.
Electra Doesn’t Live With Will And It Is Not Her Home
To clarify, Electra does not reside there, and it is not her home. Will offered Dylan a place to stay without specifying a time limit; he simply wanted her to have the opportunity to stabilize her finances, secure a job, and find her own place.
Electra pretended they were being very generous and genuinely wanted to assist Dylan, but as soon as Will left, Electra turned against her. Electra also remarked that day, “Will wants respect;” he didn’t tell Dylan that as a requirement for her to move in.
That was merely Electra’s way of leading up to her next point, which was to demand respect for Will and acknowledge that he is her boyfriend.
Dylan’s Mostly Been Respectful
That was the main point she aimed to make with her comment about respect; Dylan has been mostly respectful throughout this situation, but to be fair, there’s a bit more to consider.
We’ve noticed her checking out Will-observing him while he showered outside-and she seemed to glance at him in the latest episode while he was dozing on the sofa.
You could interpret it as being creepy, or you could think, “Oh, she’s happy he’s getting some rest. He’s such a nice guy.”
No one’s claiming Dylan is completely innocent, but really, how can you resist looking at a good-looking guy in an outdoor shower? It’s natural to look, although her watching Will nap felt a bit too much-however, Electra is unaware of any of this.
Anything Electra Said Would Be Unrelated To Dylan Checking Out Will
Anything Electra says to Dylan is unrelated to her checking out Will because she never did that in front of Electra. Fast forward to this week.
Dylan is following through on what she said she would do; she is constantly searching for a job so she can find a new place to live and regain her financial stability.
She was doing laundry for Will and Electra to help out; Will mentioned she didn’t have to do it, but Dylan insisted she wanted to be helpful. Will urged Dylan to sit and eat the chicken he had prepared because Electra was busy at work-initially, Dylan refused, but Will pressed him to join him for a meal, and eventually agreed.
Once more, everything felt very innocent, with no flirtation-it felt more like a friendly atmosphere.
Things Changed After Ivy And Steffy Talked About Dylan Staying With Will
Meanwhile, Electra was busy telling Ivy Forrester that she felt bad about Will having dinner alone; Dylan was well-behaved at dinner.
She didn’t overstep; she just added some hot sauce and ate. She doesn’t have a job or any money, and there’s no idea where she’s getting her food from-when you’re at someone’s house and they have dinner, they usually offer you at least some leftovers.
While talking to Ivy, Electra praised Dylan as a good person and a good friend.-it all seemed very sweet-almost too sweet, to be honest. Both Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ivy brought up Dylan staying at Will’s.
Ivy Thought It Was Inappropriate, Steffy Talked About Electra Having Her Boyfriend All To Herself
Ivy thought it was inappropriate, while Steffy said that once Dylan got settled and moved out, Electra could have her boyfriend all to herself.
Maybe that’s what set her off and made her go crazy on Dylan for no reason. Will told Electra that Dylan had some of the chicken he cooked, and Electra commented to Will about him replacing her.
He promised to cook for Electra when she returns from her business trip-then she told Will that she didn’t want Dylan getting too comfortable and said she’d “handle her.” Handle what; Will asked Dylan to sit down and share food, and she initially said no until he insisted in his own house.
Electra Texted Dylan To Come To Forrester Creations
Electra sent a text to Dylan saying, “Come up to Forrester,” and mentioned she knows about last night, implying something happened between Dylan and Will.
Dylan explained that Will had insisted she eat with him; Electra argued that Dylan made a mistake and should have refused Will because it was not right.
Dylan did say no, even if she didn’t call it “inappropriate” and Electra then warned, “It better never happen again.” Dylan felt a bit anxious and said she would move out as quickly as possible.
Electra is very sweet and acts like the best friend to Dylan when she’s with others. However, when they are alone, it feels like she is subtly bullying a girl in need; why is she acting this way?
Electra May Have Post-Traumatic-Luna Disorder
It could all relate back to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada); Electra seems so worried about Will’s deceased pregnant stalker that she views Dylan in the worst light.
It feels like Electra is punishing Dylan because of her bitterness towards Luna. Some of Electra’s actions are understandable since Luna was a nightmare for Will, but targeting an innocent girl isn’t justified.
Dylan’s over-the-top kindness could be taken as suspicious, she could be up to something bad. Perhaps she is stalking Will; or, maybe Dylan is just an unfortunate girl being harassed by a wealthy girl like Electra, who has never faced hardship and is acting irrationally.
