The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 14 show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has another brilliant idea to catch Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) gets a surprise, and

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) faces a setback.

Smug Victor threw Matt Clark out of his house when he had the chance to take custody of him. Now, Victor now has another problem as Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t play ball with him.

Cane and Phyllis Out for Blood!

Victor looks up Cane and Phyllis and they treat him like a Bobo Punching Doll. They cannot rub it in enough that they are now in charge and have taken over Newman.

This is like taunting a shark underwater and we’ll have to wait and see how bloody and dismembered the pirate couple get after is Victor is through with them.

Victor Could Avenge His Loss

Afterward, Victor fills in Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on the details and winds up in an argument.

Nikki is righteous and she deserves to be! She’s steamed that Victor let his hatred for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) get them into this situation.
Victor used the AI program for chaos instead of working with Jack, and now

Newman Enterprises is in chaos courtesy of Cane and Phyllis.

Nikki Reads Victor the Riot Act

Nikki simply thinks that Victor is out of options and fumbled the ball. Victor tries to shush her and we all know how well that goes over when a person with a bone to pick!

Elsewhere, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) hears from Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) that her relationship with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is in the weeds, if not the gutter.

Mariah checked out of the Boston clinic and has no intention of coming home. As such, Tessa has begun the divorce process.

Messa Are Not Meant to Be?

Sharon listens but doesn’t agree. Of course she’s upset, but she’s not the one who has had to put up with Mariah’s rejection and looniness.
Meanwhile, Nick takes matters into his own hands—WCGW?

Nick Takes Charge

Nick’s ready to sign himself out of the hospital and once again take on Matt Clark who has shown that he’s smarter than Nick.

Nick approaches Jack and tries to wrangle Matt for himself. As long as he remembers to put the handcuffs on BEHIND Matt’s back he should be ok.
