The Bold and the Beautiful weekly spoilers for January 12-16, 2026, tease Eric looking for a new beginning and Electra worried her romance will end.
Jumping Ship
After essentially being forced to retire by his own clueless family, Eric Forrester (John McCook) is at a loss. He still feels his creative juices flowing and is itching to design.
The problem is, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has convinced him that it’s time to hang up his hat and relax. But Eric doesn’t want to relax. He is antsy and bored, and no amount of Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) trying to entertain him is satisfying.
When Eric learns that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is opening her own fashion house, he sees it as his ticket back to what he loves doing best — designing beautiful clothing for women to wear.
Katie is stunned that the great Eric Forrester wants to be her lead designer. He is synonymous with Forrester Creations.
He built the company from the ground up. How could he ever design for someone else?
Will Eric manage to convince Katie to give this idea a go? Will she also hire Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone), so Eric can be his mentor? This could give Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge coronaries.
A New Forrester Intern…and Return
Out with the old, in with the new. That seems to be the new theme at Forrester Creations. Eric is out and RJ Forrester (Bryan Nicoletti) is back.
We were never even told he left; we just didn’t see him anymore. Brooke and Ridge are happy to welcome their son home
. Maybe he will even stick around this time and fall for the girl destined to be the latest crazy intern, who also killed the last crazy intern.
That’s right. Miss Dylan (Sydney Bullock) is going to join the FC team and is way too excited about it.
Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) is decidedly not excited, as she is sure this girl is invading their life just a little too much. Out with one Luna, in with another? That’s certainly what it looks like, so buckle up…
