Speaking of Matt, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was blindsided by the cretin while driving him to his final destination. He ended up in the hospital and his torment is not over by a long shot.

A setback besets Nick and this scares Sharon, as it should. Will he make it? As the exes confront mortality, they may find their way back to each other!
Elsewhere, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) get involved in the bid to take Matt back to the Newman ranch. After the crash Nick is in danger while Matt has not a scratch on him, go figure.
Jack has his thinking cap on and could demand trading Matt for the unholy AI program Victor has in his possession, which could result in the deal of the century.
Will Victor Go Easy on Jabot?
Victor is wily, and once he has Matt, why should he deal with Jack? Even if Victor agrees to a deal, what’s to say that Victor won’t renege on it?
Apparently it’s a matter of who he hates more—Matt or Jack. We know who we’d pick to take to the orange groves.Or, will it come to the cops being called and letting them handle the monstrous Matt? Maybe the bigger question is, have we seen the last of Matt after this week? Howarth signed up for a short term stint, but fans would love to see the daytime legend stay on.
Will Victor and Jack Squash Beef?
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) manipulates a heartbroken Cane to embrace the dark side. She intends to take over Newman Enterprises and wants him as a partner.
Cane is back to brooding now that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) rejected him, again. They kissed on NYE, but now that the shine of the holiday season is off, she wants nothing more to do with him.
In facilitation of Khalil’s maternity leave, her character announced to Cane that she is leaving GC for a time in order to see their daughter.
Lily Leaves Town
It’s time for Cane to face reality, and Phyllis is only too happy to fling some in his face.
At the same time, we predict that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be happy to align with her in her revenge mission.
Red hot The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Billy’s wish could jeopardize his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
