General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will confer with Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial is set to reconvene-might he blame suspended Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for corrupting the traffic cam files?
Chase Denied It When Asked, But Dante Didn’t Act Like He Believed Him
Dante interrogated Chase about the video files right before he suspended him, and Chase denied corrupting or erasing them-but Dante acted like he didn’t believe him.
The two former partners got into a heated argument over Chase being overly interested in exonerating Willow and proving her innocent; and Chase clapped back that Dante wasn’t exactly objective either.
He accused him of guilt over putting Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) in prison as a teenager, resulting in his rape by an inmate.
It really hurt the case against Willow when the proof she went to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house and then left again disappeared, like the tape was erased.
They had still photos but the judge wouldn’t accept them as evidence, and he paused the trial until after New Year’s.
Dante Would Really Be Out Of Line, Telling The ADA His Suspicions-But He’s Outspoken
Dante would really be out of line, telling the ADA his suspicions about Chase-but Dante is outspoken, he sometimes doesn’t have a filter.
He tends to just blurt out whatever he’s thinking, especially when he’s in a disagreement with someone-although he’s trying to work on it, at least with family if not with friends and coworkers.
But Dante knows that what he tells Turner will have no outcome on the case-he’s just expressing his frustration in his former partner, after all his and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) work.
However, there is a bright side-at least the case can’t be thrown out for Chase having a conflict of interest, because he can’t be involved at all now.
Will Dante Tell Turner He Thinks Chase Tampered With The Video Files?
Turner could very likely bring up her own suspicions of someone on the inside tampering with the evidence, because it’s not like this was public knowledge, in any case!
When confronted with a question if he thinks someone on the inside corrupted the evidence, Dante may feel he has no choice but to tell her he suspects Chase.
Of course, then Dante will explain Chase’s lack of objectivity and tell her that’s why he suspended him.
But soon Dante may find himself trying to exonerate his own loved one, and having trouble with objectivity. Michael will find himself on the hotseat soon enough, with someone having seen him at Drew’s house too, and two someones lying to protect him!
