The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 6 reveal that the Newman family is large and in charge today, as Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) brilliant plan goes awry.
As a result, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) receive terrifying news.
On Monday’s show Nick successfully saved Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) from Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) but on Tuesday the situation takes a nosedive.
Matt Clark is a Baddie
Nick got Matt zip tied and bundled him into the getaway car but when Matt manages to get his zip-tied wrists around Nick’s neck, chaos ensues.
It looks like a struggling Nick crashes the car and when he comes to, Matt is long gone.
As a result, Nikki and Victor fret after hearing of what happened. Maybe Nick should have used his white steed instead of a motor vehicle …
Matt Clark Escapes
It’s clear that Matt is on the loose again and his level of cray has the whole Newman family panicked, as they should be.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has concerns about her grown boy Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and married woman Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Like the good meddling mama that she is, Phyllis interrogates Daniel about the adulterous situation. Can you imagine her reaction when she finds out the couple have done the deed?
Daniel and Tessa Slept Together
This is the perfect emotional disaster for Phyllis to sink her teeth in and subsequently ignore when her reaction is unwanted.
Daniel could point out that Tessa plans to divorce Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) but Phyllis may worry about Messa reconciling instead.
As usual, Red has her kids’ best interests at heart as she argues with Daniel about how to run his life. However, we have to agree that Daniel is potentially walking into a coal mine without a canary.
