The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Faces an Impossible Choice Between Victor and Billy
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) made a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and is surprised that he has delayed the delivery of what was promised. That’s her fault.
Lying to family and friends about what she’s done only makes matters worse. But Phyllis is willing herself to believe that, like master magician Harry Houdini, she’ll make a great escape.
As of this point in the plot, she has no leverage because she gave it away to, of all people, Victor. So, stealing the artificial intelligence program back, as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) suggested, seems like Phyllis’ best path to freedom.
Phyllis Summers Can Name Her Price
Billy’s offer was simple. She steals the AI program from Victor, delivers it to the Abbotts, and then receives whatever price she wants.
He called it generational wealth. Phyllis’ always manicured eyebrows raised when he mentioned that term because she was highly intrigued.
GC’s world-class hacker never denied stealing the AI tool that Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) company developed. She also didn’t refute giving it to Victor. Instead, Billy gleaned that all of his assumptions about her actions and current position were correct, and he was right.
Jack Abbott Will Burn Jabot Down If Necessary
Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) pledge to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was bold. He said that Victor will never put Jabot out of business, and if he had to, Jack would burn Jabot down to the ground.
Adam was shaken by Jack’s intensity. He hadn’t seen the man he considered a good friend this angry in years, and when Adam had witnessed this rage, it had been directed at his father, Victor.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is buckling. While she agreed that getting Cane was right and battling Billy was okay, going after the Abbotts is just plain wrong.
Grossman’s character knows the love of his life is right. But he’s in a good place with his father and doesn’t want to rock any soapy boats.
Victor Newman Can’t Stand To Lose
Teasers show Victor having it out with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Viewers knew that was coming based on her sharing sensitive intel with Jack.
She is adamantly opposed to Victor having the AI weapon and using it in the manner that he has. Her conversation with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) included telling her granddaughter what Victor’s done and acknowledging that she finds it unforgivable.
The strife with Nikki will distract Victor. But even when his gaze is off, he’s still the wiliest person in this famous Midwestern City. The storyline where he’s the central player is hard to predict because it could realistically move in various directions. That is good soap.
