Fans Catch This Odd Mistake With Katie
In other words, Katie says that her son Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) was “tricked” by Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) instead of using the proper terminology in this case.
WIll wasn’t just tricked by Luna. He was raped and sexually assaulted, which resulted in Luna getting pregnant with his child. But for some reason or another, the writers are just refusing to put it in those words on the show and a lot of fans want to know why.
Of course, many soap fans had a lot to say about the matter online.
Some even commented with, “Don’t tackle such a serious topic if you’re not even willing to say what the topic is. It’s like they are downplaying what is a horrific assault by using such minimizing sugarcoating and dismissive words. It’s an insult to all of the victims of SA.”
Another critic wrote, “I swear Katie said it a single time at the apartment when they first found Luna, but not since. Maybe I misremembered that, but still. They could still say it, acknowledge it. Hell say it’s assault. But tricked is just so diminishing of what she did.”
What’s Next For Will?
And then there was this comment as well: “Will called her a whore (why are we still using the word…?) rather than a rapist. I don’t get it either. Like calling a woman a whore or a slut (Ridge to Hope) is just fine, but avoid the topic of male rape at all costs.”
Then again, B&B fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

Well I’ve said Luna raped Will from the beginning. I think thats what a lot of viewers wanted someone to say on the
soap. If it would have been the other way around it would have automatically been called RAPE.. The writers tried to make it sound like a young man could not be raped. Which is not so. IMO there should be a word of advicement about rape and a number or something to call if this has happened to you. That might soften the story line a little.
