The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Crossover – Courtney Hope, Sally Has “Unfinished Business” on B&B?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra ended up in Genoa City after being banished from Y&R’s sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful. Sally was a low-down heathen on B&B and was written into a corner, hence her do-over in GC.
But if you’ve ever wondered how the fiery redhead would be doing back on the LA-based B&B had she never left, you’re not alone.
Courtney Hope talked to Soaps.com recently and mentioned what she thinks Sally would be up to these days.
What if Sally Spectra Never Left LA?
The actress was asked if she’s in touch with the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful and she replied “You know what’s so funny? I was just thinking about this last week because Bold & Beautiful moved from the building, and I’m like, ‘Oh, I miss the family here.’”
Hope went on to talk about her alter ego who she has portrayed across both CBS soaps: “Then I was thinking about Sally, and I was like, ‘I wonder if Sally ever talks to Wyatt (Darin Brooks)?”
Wyatt Spencer was Sally’s love interest on the show until she went berserk after his rejection of her.
She imagined Wyatt saying “’We need some time apart. You just need to go regroup.’ And I thought, ‘I wonder if I ever regrouped and got back in touch, you know?’”
Did Sally Ever Get Her Ish Together?
In the end, Sally pretended to have a medical emergency to win Wyatt back, but the character went overboard with the theatrics. Hope believes that Sally “has earned a little more respect lately over the last few years.”
Still, she understands that back on the west coast, not everyone has forgotten the nastiness Sally got up to: “there are some grudges to be held against Sally” she said but hopes that “she’d still be friends with Liam (Scott Clifton).”
Will Sally Ever Cross Back Over to B&B?
Hope thinks there could be a day in which Sally and Liam squash beef, saying “There was really not that much explored with Liam. It was like, ‘Oh, we’re potentially dying. Oh, I think I love you’ — which was so funny. But I understood it.”
We enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane with Sally and her rendezvous in LA, but there is not a crossover planned for Sally at this time.
In the meantime, back in GC, Sally continues to be saddled with a deadbeat boyfriend whowill never change his ways—Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
