Producers Know Rebecca Budig Was A Miscast
Of course, we are talking about Rebecca Budig as Taylor Hayes. And while there’s no doubt that fans have been talking about this for quite some time now, it looks like the producers of the hit CBS soap have finally picked up on it.
That’s because a lot of viewers of the show have noticed one huge change in the character. Taylor Hayes seems to be wearing more platform shoes on almost a daily basis on the show. And that’s not just because the producers want to make Taylor look taller.
It’s perhaps because they also want to make her look like she has more presence on the show. After all, Taylor is the mother of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), yet Steffy is always towering over her.
Not only that, but some people even believe that Taylor and Steffy can pass as sisters. Clearly, that’s not the impression that the producers of the show want to give and that might be the reason why they are doing everything they can to make Taylor larger than life even though she isn’t.
What’s Next For Taylor Hayes?
Clearly, the producers are trying to fix their mistake but it might be a little too late for that. The only way that they can change viewer perception about Taylor is if they recast the character altogether, but it’s doubtful that will happen anytime soon.
So far the producers of the show have not made any comments about the matter just yet.
Now, as far as what’s next remains to be seen. The Bold and the Beautiful fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

I’m ready for her replacement, sorry but she does NOT fit!
Rebecca appears to be too young, too vertically challenged…(nothing to do w/ her acting chops)…but yeah…when the part was recast, they should have selected someone who actually looked like she could be Steffie’s mom (as opposed to an older sister).
The character really doesn’t have a need to be on the show, snd no she doesn’t look young enough to be Steffy’s sister. I don’t know what others are looking at to say that.

she has the baby until the Spencer’s apply to raise it …I read somewhere that Poppy wants to raise the baby ..she sees dollar signs from the Spencers. The best thing would be for her to miscarry and rid us of that vile character. I want to know why the police aren’t arresting Li for her obstructing justice and taking of a body she claimed was dead when she was supposed to be in prison
Maybe the writers should shake things up with Deacon & Taylor. Lol
I honestly never like Rebecca as Taylor she just didn’t seem to fit so recasting her wouldn’t break my heart. I honestly don’t think making her appear bigger isn’t the answer that just isn’t who she is .. as for passing as Steffi’s sister i never thought that. She is a very petite woman and that’s ok to me it makes me feel the men around her should be more protective of her . Not sure if that makes any sense
