The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 1 reveal that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) has a chance to respond to Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage proposal.
Kyle has prepped the Abbott mansion for a special night. It is lit in candlelight and no doubt Claire will be touched. The proposal is a bit sudden, but Kyle wants the details to be delightful.
At first Claire may think that their dinner is a setting in which to talk about their tensions.
Klaire are Getting Married?
Claire is eager to Kyle explain himself about what went down in Nice, and she also wants to air her own concerns about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Claire begins to realize what Kyle’s true agenda is when he declares his love and devotion. She’s floored when he whips out a little box and shows her the bling inside. This was not what she was expecting!
Put yourself in her shoes: they have been arguing for days and now he suddenly proposes out of the blue.
Claire Uncertain About Marriage?
Spoilers hint that Claire is not happy about being blindsided. Instead of rolling on the floor with tears streaming down her face, she is understandably leery. What woman in her position wouldn’t be sus about the timing of Kyle’s proposal?
Instead of blubbering, Claire could respond by calling Kyle out for grandstanding. Will she accuse him of proposing just to distract her from his suspicious behavior with Audra?
We predict that Kyle will go overboard reassuring her that he truly, madly, deeply loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
Can Kyle Make Claire Believe?
Elsewhere, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) pressures Audra to come clean about the part she played in Victor’s scheme to break up Klaire.
Audra will finally confess in the coming episodes, but how will Nate respond to the depth of her deception?
Elsewhere, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) keeps more secrets from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Ironically, she was touched by his confession video to her and their kids. Just when she appears to be open to the idea of détente will Cane’s lies cause problems all over again?
Despite what he’s been telling people, Cane isn’t giving up on his plan to dominate Genoa City. Tell us Y&R fans, do you want to see Lily and Cane reconcile or is she better off saying goodbye to bad trash?
