Elizabeth Has No Regrets About Jason
However, it seems like despite all of their issues, Elizabeth has absolutely no regrets about what they once had between them.
During their last scene, both Elizabeth and Jason couldn’t decide if timing of choice was more important, but neither regretted their night together. Elizabeth even told him that she is happy that for at least one night, they got to share something very special.
As our loyal fans can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “As much as she wanted to be with Jason, it was never going to work because, for all her proclamations to the contrary, his life scared her.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “They will never work because Elizabeth will never really accept Jason’s life being in the mob or that he is a danger.”
Will Elizabeth And Jason Ever Get Together Again?
“I think that is where the writing would have been different. Elizabeth would have been the one he would have chosen before them. Just my opinion”
“She is a mother and well Jason saw what this business has done to people he cares about especially Sam and Michael especially. He obviously doesn’t want that for Elizabeth or Jake or her other sons and that is exactly what would happen if she were to be with him.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I will always love my Liaison!! I don’t know why the writers didn’t give them a fair chance! Another missed opportunity was when Steve came back last year.”
“I watch the old Liaison episodes all the time. My favorite playlists are from when Liz rescued Jason in the snow and nursed him back to health.”

[…] Genie puts it this way, “When I look back at that time and how young I was, I don’t know how I got through it — and I got through it really alone. My parents were not that involved with me. [The network] was flying me from place to place and I was alone. And I was a child, and I had to justify all that stuff.” […]
