The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 13 tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) confronts Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) feels Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) wrath.
Nick is talking to Billy when he loses it. We suspect that Nick has a problem with Billy doing business with Cane, the man who almost had him killed.
Nick is stunned that after all Cane put them through on his estate, that Billy is willing to forgive and forget.
Should Billy Trust Cane?
Billy takes Nick’s venom but can’t tell him the truth—that he’s working to bring down Cane from the inside. Billy fully intends to protect Jabot, but will Cane be fooled?
Elsewhere, Victor is hellbent on revenge for what Cane did to everyone in Nice. Victor offered Cane the chance to team up and take down the Abbotts, but Cane declined. This leads Victor to plot against Cane in what should be WWIII in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Victor Won’t Let Cane Go Scot Free
Victor has every intention to thwart Cane and make him regret returning to Genoa City. As we’ve seen however, Cane thinks he’s made of Kryptonite, so the antics that go down in the coming days and weeks will be thrilling daytime drama.
Victor Plans to Decimate Cane
Elsewhere, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) fills in Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) about Billy’s plot to take Cane down as a plant.
Jack hopes that Billy can pull off a coup, but he knows how vindictive and distracted Billy can get. Likewise, Diane is leery of scatterbrained Billy being in charge of saving the family company.
At the same time, Jack gets a surprise invitation. Does Cane summon Jack to talk about their businesses and offer him a deal to partner against Victor?
What Happens Next in Genoa City, Wisconsin?
Whatever he says, Jack must not reveal Billy’s intentions. Can he get through a delicate situation without spilling the beans? Cane is a man to be reckoned with, as his Nice shenanigans show.
