The scenes that have fans talking came in the July 17 episode, in which Nina and Sonny had a rather warm conversation, for them anyway. Here’s what to know about a possible alliance that will shock and awe PC to its core!
Nina Reveals all to Sonny
Sonny confronted Nina on ratting him out to the press and she told him that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) made her do it via creative blackmail about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Sonny was surprisingly understanding and even said “the story doesn’t always end the way you think” and that has some fans thinking a Nina and Sonny reunion is in the works. The sentiment was bolstered with Nina remarking that being married to Sonny will always be a special time in her life.
Nina and Sonny Ready to Reconnect?
These two have Willow and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to worry about and they put their kids’ welfare above any pettiness that may be between them. If they can bury the hatchet, who knows what the future holds for these two?
The scenes between Nina and Sonny were surprisingly cordial and we saw the initial chemistry they had back in Nixon Falls, PA.
Do You Want Nina and Sonny to Bond?
The Nixon Falls storyline was a lightning rod for many fans, but that was a long time ago now. Is the fanbase ready to accept Nonny as a couple back in PC?
A lot has changed, and both characters have grown. Sonny understands that getting out of mobbing is best for him and his family and Nina truly regrets the things she’s done behind Willow’s back.
A Nina and Sonny Reunion Would Shock PC
Ironically, Willow and Michael might be the two people who are most against a Nonny reunion. But do they have any room to talk? You know what they say, the heart wants what it wants, and in the case of two powerful and dynamic characters like Nina and Sonny even they may be surprised to learn what their hearts want!

The two certainly can bond, but to bond for a romantic reunion is a no no in my opinion. Sure if they hit the sheets (which would also be a little overbearing once again), may be ok as neither has had a love interest for awhile. Hope GH writers don’t feel there needs to anything between Sonny/Nina other than friendship.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind Sonny and Nina giving it another shot. They know each others past, they accept each other, warts and all. And you can’t deny that they still have chemistry and they sparkle when they smile at each other. Sonny needs a woman in his life, and Nina will have his back, much like Carly always had. A lot of people wouldn’t be happy but its not their business…
I completely agree. They were both better people together, have grown as you said, and I feel they could be very good as a couple now. He and Carly had too many failed attempts and should remain close friends only.
