General Hospital spoilers reveal the emotional stakes are sky-high in our favorite metropolis this week as Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) begins to question her trust in Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), rattled by Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) accusations that he will eventually find a way to remove her from her child’s life, just like he allegedly has to Willow.
Some fans think Michael is punishing her for choosing Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) over prioritizing their children, Amelia and Wiley Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko, Viron Weaver), while others couldn’t disagree more and think Willow earned everything she’s been smacked down with.
This week’s preview shows Sasha, still reeling from Daisy Corinthos Gilmore’s (Levi Clark Coughlin) kidnapping, wrestling with Willow’s claims, especially as she plans to leave town with Daisy.
Could Sasha’s growing doubts mean Willow’s not entirely wrong about Michael’s motives, and will this fracture their budding romance?
Sasha’s Doubts Creep In
Sasha’s faith in Michael, solidified by his support from the start of her pregnancy and the crib scare, wavers as Willow’s tearful pleas — seen in a tense hospital run-in — hit home.
Willow insisted Michael’s custody win last month and subsequent refusal to grant visitation stem from bitterness, not just concern for the kids. Sasha, haunted by her past loss of Liam Mike Corbin, starts to wonder if Michael’s plans to flee were partly to hurt Willow, echoing her own pain.
Confronting him won’t pan out the way she hopes, so she may be keen on getting out of dodge without him instead. Lucky for her, he has agreed to such.
Willow’s Words Hit Too Close
Willow’s accusations plant seeds of doubt in Sasha, especially as Michael’s focus on Daisy’s safety overshadows Amelia’s and Wiley’s well-being.
Her worry that Willow might be right could unravel their co-parenting relationship, particularly if Michael’s actions mirror the power she has witnessed him wield over his ex-wife.
If Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) weigh in, will Sasha’s doubts grow, or will Michael’s love for Daisy reassure her?
A Romance at Risk or a New Resolve?
Sasha’s growing unease could take her relationship with Michael back to square one of her pregnancy, altering agreements they’ve made since to stay in each other’s lives. If she questions Michael’s motives, it might push her to disappear after she takes off with Daisy — leaving him in the dark about where his daughter is for years to come.
Will Sasha’s worry that Willow is right about Michael end up fracturing their current arrangement and solid truth, or will they find a way to overcome her doubts and stay united? Keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
