General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 24 tease supportive friends, stern warnings, and waiting on news. Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) is a supportive friend, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) gives a stern warning and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wait on news.
Supportive Friends
In the waiting area of the emergency room at GH, Brook Lynn stays by the side of Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who is in need of medical care. It appears she took him to the hospital, as his injuries are serious enough to require attention but not critical enough for an ambulance. Brook Lynn is encouraging, questioning Cody about why she would feel frustrated with him.
Accidents occur, and she is certainly pleased to assist the Quartermaine stable manager. It’s fortunate that she was available to lend a helping hand when he required it.
Stern Warnings
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is taken aback when Molly pays him a visit in the hospital, delivering a startling warning. It’s evident that Molly disapproves of his relationship with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
She shoots a disapproving look at her father as he incredulously asks, ‘If Ava is part of my life, does that mean you won’t be?’ Molly sees Ava as an adversary, likely holding her responsible for the loss of the baby she and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) intended to adopt.
Additionally, she is wary of Ava’s connections to a mob family, no matter how slight, as she is the last surviving member of the three Jerome siblings.
Reconsiderations
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) finds himself in the office of Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
After considering Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) advice, it appears that Marco is being offered a second opportunity to work with the firm. However, there seem to be some strict conditions attached, as Diane scrutinizes him and states, ‘We need to clarify one important thing.’
Marco is just relieved to remain in Port Charles, close to his mother, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), and father, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Most importantly, he is thrilled about the possibility of a relationship with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis)!
Lucas’ Take On Meeting His Bio Dad
In a conversation with his adoptive relative Lulu Spencer ( Alexa Havins Bruening), Lucas expresses his gratitude for the return of his late biological father, Julian Jerome (William DeVry), into his life.
Lulu might be probing him about Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son, who has been adopted, possibly in an effort to locate him.
Up to this point, Lulu has honored her commitment to Brook Lynn by keeping Dante in the dark about her teenage pregnancy.
However, it’s clear she has her doubts about Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) after encountering him at a recent event. Her skills as an investigative reporter are certainly coming into play!
Family Needed
Dante is having a conversation with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) about family matters, focusing on Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). Dante expresses to Kristina that Danny is in need of his family, particularly now that his little sister Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante) is no longer with him.
Although she remains in town, her father Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has caused issues that forced them to leave the Quartermaine mansion.
Dante had hoped that after the passing of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), Danny, and Scout could all remain together in the Quartermaine home. However, while Rocco has his mother back, Danny and Scout are not as fortunate—they truly need one another.
Jason’s There For Danny
Elsewhere, Danny confides in his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about his feelings of missing his mother. Jason reassures him that he is there for him, no matter what.
Both Danny and Scout have experienced the pain of their fathers being missing and presumed dead, only to discover that they are alive—Jason, in fact, has faced this situation twice.
While Jason cannot replace the loss of Sam, he is determined to be a devoted father to Danny and strives to fulfill that role.
He is committed to being present in Danny’s life, which is why he declined offers from the WSB and sought to extricate himself from his obligations with the FBI.
Waiting On News
In Los Angeles, Brick and Carly anxiously await as Sonny gets ready for his open heart surgery, waiting on news. Brick expresses to Carly that knowing she supports Sonny is the best news he could receive. Sonny has delayed this essential surgery for far too long, having collapsed a few times since his diagnosis.
The issue appears to originate from an old gunshot wound near Sonny’s heart, which is disrupting his heartbeat and leading to atrial fibrillation.
It seems the situation is more critical than merely needing a pacemaker, although that might also be a requirement.
