The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Luna Purposely Plays Sheila Against Poppy
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) ran to her realized grandmother because she had nowhere else to turn.
Of course, someone who killed their presumed father and attempted to frame her mother for that and another capital offense isn’t right in the head.
Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) reacted with vitriol when Luna first returned to Il Giardino. That specific setting was where Luna plotted and committed Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) murder because she didn’t want him to be her dad.
However, Sheila’s view of Luna radically transformed the instant she learned that Yamada’s character was part of her bloodline. The cheeky cackles they’ve shared since are hilarious winks to the audience and a signal of what’s ahead.
Hollis Hollister Didn’t Deserve To Die Either
Paul Hollis Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) died as cruelly as Tom. Luna also poisoned him in a classic soapy move.
Luna doesn’t offer much regret for killing Tom, rationalizing her deranged actions as a response to him being a so-called loser. Yet, that same good soul proved decisive in saving Sheila’s life by helping Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) locate a then-kidnapped Sheila.
Hollis’ mistake was one of circumstance. He found Tom’s backpack in Il Giardino’s back office after he was killed, opened it, and read the letters Howard’s character wrote to Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park).
Il Giardino’s most popular employee and the B&B side character, who grew to have a few storylines, was seen as a threat. Luna felt he would spread the news about Tom’s apparent genetic connection to her and so she killed him.
As is true of Tom, Sheila is now overlooking Hollis’ murder because Luna is her granddaughter.
Poppy Nozawa’s Dangerous Disowning Of Her Daughter
Luna tried to kill a third person, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Who knows, there could be other people who Luna also erased from the earth.
Poppy isn’t afraid of her daughter, telling Luna to her face that they no longer are connected in her mind. It’s hard to blame Poppy considering that she could have spent the rest of her life behind bars for crimes Luna committed.
Some in this version of Los Angeles, California, exaggerate their past life. They do so because they are narcissists. Luna is firmly in that slot and is also a lunatic, which is a purposeful play on the first name her mother gave her.
Luna is a typically ungrateful child. However, she responded to the ultimate extreme when deciding to use her mother’s faults to justify murder and then framing Poppy for it. So, there’s no predicting what will happen now that Luna is using Sheila.
Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Love Has Limits
Deacon brought out something in Sheila that fans of this character, even dating back to her original show, The Young and the Restless, didn’t see. She cares about him and seems to be maintaining self-control because of it. So, that’s good.
However, the humanity Sheila has generally exhibited since marrying Deacon has its limits. Yes, she’s thrilled that Luna is her granddaughter. Yet, part of Sheila’s calculation is that reality could help her reconnect with Finn.
So, Sheila is already planning to use Luna as an opening for another attempt to bond with Finn. While the battle with Poppy will be real, Luna could eventually face her grandmother’s wrath if she crosses the arguably greatest villain ever appearing on Y&R or B&B.
