Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) talks about keeping secrets, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) has a happy surprise and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) has a suspicious mind.
Keeping Secrets
Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine are seated on a park bench, engaged in conversation. They might be enjoying the fresh air as Chase attempts to offer Brook Lynn a fresh perspective on a long-held secret.
He gently advises the visibly troubled Brook Lynn that if she wishes to keep this secret, she must find a way to move past the pain.
Chase makes a valid point; if others notice the hurt on her face, they will likely inquire about her feelings and urge her to open up.
This situation is particularly challenging for Brook Lynn, as she has recently discovered that many aspects of her teenage pregnancy and the birth were not as she had believed.
Happy Surprises
At the Quartermaine mansion, Olivia can hardly contain her excitement as she exclaims, “I have a surprise for you!” However, it seems she will soon find herself in the role of peacemaker, as tensions are likely to flare up among the guests.
But let’s not forget about the surprise—who is it intended for, and what could it be? Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) has gone back to Bensonhurst to give Brook Lynn some time to cool off.
Could today be the day she makes her return, and whom will Olivia need to mediate for?
Suspicious Minds
Lulu appears to be in a heated discussion with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at the Quartermaine stables, and she seems to harbor some doubts! She expresses to Dante that something is making her question his trustworthiness.
That must sting, especially since Dante would go to great lengths for his ex-wife and the mother of Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
What could have prompted such a conversation-Dante looks taken aback and visibly pained. It seems that Lulu and Dante are on the verge of a serious confrontation, where many issues will be addressed in a rather intense manner!
Request Visit
Remaining in her hospital bed with her injured leg propped up, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) expresses a desire to see someone.
Could it be that she wishes to be taken to Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) room to check on him? She might want to discuss what he recalls about the accident and share her own memories to help piece together the events.
However, at the moment, his room is occupied with another visitor.
Financial Advantages
In Ric’s room, Ava Jerome (Maura West) envisions a lucrative opportunity and urges Ric to capitalize on it. Just as Ric is about to contact the police to report Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for attempted murder, Ava intervenes.
She clearly sees a chance for financial blackmail, but will Ric agree to her scheme?
In the past, during his brief marriage to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), he might have considered it. However, the question remains: will he resort to blackmail once more, aligning himself with Ava?
Will Kristina Confess?
Meanwhile, Kristina and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) are still in the chapel at GH, discussing the events surrounding the accident. Lucky is aware that Kristina tampered with Ric’s brake lines, mistakenly believing they belonged to Ava. It seems Lucky is encouraging Kristina to take responsibility for her actions, as he inquires whether she is contemplating a confession.
However, doing so could place her in a serious legal predicament, as it would be classified as attempted murder, regardless of Ava’s presence in the vehicle.
What choice will Kristina make; will she take the moral high ground before Ava reveals the truth in a way she wouldn’t prefer?
