A lot of B&B fans have noticed that when it comes to Hope and her life, it seems like Hope is the kind of person who likes to bring others down so she can just lift herself up if that makes sense. 

For example, when Brooke was upset about how things were going down with Ridge, instead of telling her mom to move on and focus on herself, she told Brooke to be happy that she’s even successful at her job and that she’s even CEO in the first place.

When Zende mentioned that no one seemed to be very happy at Forrester Creations these days, Hope was very quick to point out that the company is running much better now then when Ridge and Steffy were involved.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some fans and critics of the show even commented with, “When she was younger she was always smiling and laughing and striving to have the perfect wedding/life to the point it caused her stress and she had to be put on medication.”

“As she’s matured Hope does not seem to be as persistently perky but she does seem to want to maintain the perfect life and she does seem to see the glass as full or at least half full…but she doesn’t allow others negativity to intrude into her happy bubble. It must be a somewhat more relaxing way to live.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Another example is marrying Wyatt after Liam didn’t show up in Paris. Like marrying his brother with no prior relationship will fix everything.”

“And I’m not anti-Hope, but when she couldn’t read the room during the jewelry launch when everyone else was unhappy, and tried to get everyone to be happy and have champagne, was uncomfortable to watch. I agree with Daphne that Hope isn’t in tune to what Carter is feeling.”
