Donald Trump Issued With A Chilling Threat

He hasn’t even moved into the White House, yet it seems like there’s already a target on the back of his administration. Of course, we are talking about Donald Trump as the President-Elect has just been issued with a chilling threat. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Donald Trump Issued With A Chilling Threat

According to the latest reports, Honduras President Xiomara Castro just issued a threat to President Trump, saying she’ll shut down U.S. military bases if he deports Honduran nationals. And it looks like she means it, too.

Castro put it this way, “Faced with a hostile attitude of mass expulsion of our brothers, we would have to consider a change in our policies of cooperation with the United States, especially in the military arena, where, without paying a cent for decades, they maintain military bases in our territory, which in this case would lose all reason to exist in Honduras.”

She continued, “We hope that the new U.S. administration of democratically elected President Donald Trump will be open to dialogue, constructive and friendly, and will not take unnecessary reprisals against our migrants, who normally make a great contribution to the U.S. economy.”

What’s Next For Donald Trump?

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “If the US boots out the unskilled, the uneducated, freeloaders, murderers and drug dealers, they will shut down military facilities that cost the US Taxpayer billions, and props up the local economy and regime in Honduras? That’s not a threat!”

Another critic wrote, “United States provided $194 million of aid to Honduras during the last year. If I was the leader of Honduras, I would be very careful as to how I threaten the United States. A $194 million lease payment on a base in Honduras is a pretty good return on your money Honey!”

And then there was this comment as well: “It’s all about remittances from illegals. Castro knows these are more valuable than the military bases.”

Remittances from the United States to Honduras in 2023 were $9.177 billion, making Honduras the Latin American country that most depends on remittances. Remittances are a key source of income for Hondurans, making up 26% of the country’s GDP.”
