General Hospital Spoilers Monday, December 16: Worrying Moms, Ugly Uncles, Bereaved Girlfriends!
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, December 16 tease worrying moms, ugly uncles and bereaved girlfriends! Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) worries about her missing daughter, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) gets ugly, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is bereaved.
General Hospital Spoilers: Bereaved Girlfriends
Lulu took the drastic step of breaking into Wyndemere Castle in her desperate search for clues about Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) whereabouts and the fate of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
During her unauthorized visit, she found a box filled with Charlotte’s cherished keepsakes-just as she was continuing her search, Dante Falconeri and another officer arrived in response to the break-in.
Understanding the emotional turmoil she was in, Dante chose not to arrest her and instead shared his own feelings of loss regarding Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Now, Lulu confides in Dante, expressing her deep fears as a mother. Unaware that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are on the trail of a lead, she anxiously worries what she’ll do if she never sees her daughter again.
GH Spoilers: Called To The Boss’s Office
At GH, trouble is brewing following the death of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as Co-Chief of Staff Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has summoned someone to her office.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was involved in Dex’s care alongside the newly appointed Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), but unfortunately, they couldn’t save him.
Who is Portia advising to step back from patient care? It’s likely Elizabeth, especially since she was also present during Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) tragic passing.
Meanwhile, everyone is anxiously awaiting the results of Dex’s toxicology screen; it’s clear that someone wanted to silence him, so why was there no guard stationed at his door?
General Hospital Spoilers: Pointing Fingers
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) unleashes her fury while Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) stands by her side. With a fierce glare, she accuses someone, declaring, “You’re not one of us!”
The expression on her face suggests a hint of triumph, but it’s clear that both she and Ned have been working to exclude Drew from the family and its business.
It’s likely that her ire is directed at Drew, especially since Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has already departed for the gatehouse. Unlike the other Quartermaines, Drew didn’t have a privileged upbringing, and he once rejected that lifestyle—it’s evident that trying to fit into the Quartermaine mold isn’t an attractive look!
GH Spoilers: Ugly Uncles
Drew intensifies the tension as he gets ugly and taunts Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and their scandalous affair!
He leans in close, challenging Michael with a provocative question: “Would she ever cheat on you if it wasn’t real?” He better watch out for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), as a confrontation could lead to a more serious blow than he already got!
Yet, Drew raises a compelling argument—if Willow truly loved Michael, she wouldn’t have betrayed him with Drew, especially not starting it! This goes beyond mere admiration for Drew; after all, didn’t she also cheat with Michael while still married to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)?
General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Stands Up To Carly
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hurried to the gatehouse alongside Willow right after the shocking nanny cam footage was shown at the Quartermaine Christmas celebration.
Meanwhile, Carly, having tried to console Michael, dashed over to prevent Willow and Nina from taking off with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
Nina aimed to shield the children from the aftermath of the party’s drama, while Carly was resolute in her mission to stop them from leaving and “snatching” Michael’s kids.
Willow stands firm, asserting that the next steps were not Carly’s decision to make. Let’s hope Nina succeeded in keeping the little ones away from that unpleasantness!
GH Spoilers: Bereaved Girlfriends
In the midst of her sorrow, Josslyn, still reeling from witnessing Dex’s tragic death at the hospital while Isaiah and Liz fought to save him, meets Jason on Robin’s Bridge.
She shares the heartbreaking details of the incident, expressing her belief that she will never be able to move past it. Jason, grappling with his own pain over Sam’s loss, is determined to offer her support and comfort.
Meanwhile, Carly received a call from Anna at the hospital, but she was preoccupied with her confrontation involving Willow and Nina regarding Wiley and Amelia. It’s likely that Jason will step in to remind her that she has a grieving daughter who needs her.

And now Joss has had yet another young boyfriend die on her. STOP ALL THE KILLING, GH! If anything, kill the thought process on these GH writers. All they know is murder, it seems – and they’re sloppy with that! Who killed Austin? Are they ever planning on resolving that case? And as soon as crazy shrieking Kristina starts monopolizing the show, they completely dropped the Cates murder case – along with Sonny & Carly’s “secret” (fake) affair to give Sonny an alibi. What, did they write themselves into a corner they don’t know how to get out of, so they just start killing more and more characters? I know TPTB say that the audience gets bored with happy couples (not always true), but we also get bored with all the unnecessary bloodshed and firing of beloved characters. C’mon, GH – throw your loyal fans a bone and give us new writers! Or at least writers who know, understand and respect the history of the show & its families.
Well said, totally agree
Willow was the one who initiated the sex, She keeps insisting she loves Michael but it’s the life style she loves. Michael’s exit will impact the story I just hope she doesn’t end up keeping the kids away from the Quartermaines. As for Lulu her story is a little far fetched. Coming out of a 4 year coma with no side affects is hard to take. She’s on the run looking for Charlotte breaking into homes and yet no follow up care or therapy required. Writers need to write her story a little better. The show is going in a different direction with Sam. Michael and Dex out. Not sure how it will go.
