General Hospital Spoilers report Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) has a considerable job offer on the table, and it’s presumably on the right side of the law.
He was surprised to be approached by WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), and even more shocked to hear that Brennan was interested in hiring him for an overseas position of his choosing.
Just how much information could Brennan have on Lucky that would lead him to be so forward in rolling out the red carpet for him to accommodate wherever he wants to go?
Lucky has a sharp mind and thinks much like his father, the late Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). He knows when he smells a rat. Is that what’s happening with Brennan? Will Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) be able to counter that offer?
General Hospital Spoilers — When Push Comes to Shove
Just six hours after presenting him with the startling job offer he never expected, Lucky was once again fielding pressure from Brennan to accept a position as a contractor for the WSB in a country of his choosing.
It seems too good to be true, and that may be because it is. Lucky would do well to tread carefully and not jump on this job opportunity just because it would quickly help him to trap shoot out of town and away from his own personal discomfort being there.
GH Spoilers Leak It’s Not That It’s Not Enticing
Lucky doesn’t know where he wants to be. It’s that simple. He hears Elizabeth loud and clear and knows the pressure is on for him to make a decision. Point blank, she insisted that if he’s not going to stick around long-term, he should go — and soon.
It may have been comforting for her to hear how okay her son was with that reality. Nonetheless, Elizabeth wants Lucky around, and she just might get what she wants, albeit not for the reasons she had hoped. On the flipside, Elizabeth could give him a run for his money on staying in town.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Writing on the Wall
We have to admit that it’s a bit distasteful hearing that Lucky can’t find any purpose in being in Port Charles when his family is there — namely, his son, Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy).
But hearing that Elizabeth may be in trouble is going to throw Lucky for a loop. Having the chance to support her through the upcoming investigation into her potential role in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death could renew the feeling that he has a reason to be in town.
Will Elizabeth’s hardship draw Lucky nearer as a source of support for both her and Aiden? We can only hope.
