The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Eric Braeden Manages To Find A Solution
The actor, who is best known for his role as Victor Newman on the hit CBS soap, wrote on his X account, ”I found a solution! I have blocked MUSK and TRUMP! Although I’m now on THREADS I’ll be here a little longer for a lot of you who have been such appreciated fans!”
Earlier in the month, and just like some other soap opera stars out there, Eric took to his X account to announce that he would be leaving the social media platform following Donald Trump’s win in the presidential election.
On election day, Eric wrote, “Congratulations to those of you who wanted this outcome of the election!”
He then added, “We all voted! So be it! I DO NOT LIKE IT, BECAUSE I DO NOT THINK THIS MAN IS FIT TO BE PRESIDENT, BUT I SHALL ACCEPT THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION! LET US ALL TRY TO BE KIND TO EACH OTHER!”
But it didn’t take very long for the actor to also add: “I am leaving X and going to THREADS; I am deactivating my account by in one week! So spread the word!”

“I shall not be censored by this SOUTH AFRICAN APARTHEID GUY WHO OBVIOUSLY DOESN’t understand AMERICAN DEMOCRACY! The censor crap has started!”
Clearly, it didn’t take very long for the actor to come back to X to share some more of his political musings.
Now, whether or not Eric will stay on X remains to be seen. Nancy Lee Grahn from General Hospital has so far done a good job of staying off the social media platform altogether.
