General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) isn’t worried about Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) investigation into him right now.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) set off a few alarm bells when he conveyed just how interested Sam is in getting to the bottom of whoever killed FBI Agent ‘John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington), but Sonny let it slide off his back because there’s no way for Sam to prove it was him — or is there?
We’ve seen Sam turn up some pretty significant evidence in the past with her sleuthing skills. Sonny probably shouldn’t underestimate her, but he’s hardly going to fret over her becoming so much a liability that her work could end up convicting him.
That’s why it’ll come as such a surprise when she comes forth with evidence and gives him the ultimatum of turning himself in — or she will. Feeling he has no choice but to eliminate the threat like he always does, Sonny will see no way out but to kill Sam.
But there’s no way Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to let that happen, right?
General Hospital Spoilers — “I’ll Take Care of It”
We can expect that Sonny won’t have to tell Jason where his mind is headed. Jason knows how he operates and is able to take his emotions out of the equation to piece together what happens next in any given situation.
But fearing Sonny is going to kill the mother of his child, we can also expect Jason might want to take matters into his own hands.
Obviously, he’s not going to kill Sam, but he may be convincing enough to request that Sonny let him do it. Then, he just might do something else entirely. Can Jason fake Sam’s death to keep Sonny happy?
GH Spoilers Hint Sonny May Grow Suspicious
Is Sonny going to want some kind of proof that Sam is dead? Will Jason have to lie to his own child — Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) — to pull this off?
How will he ever get Sam to go along with a plan to fake her own death and stay away from her children? How will she ever be able to come back?
She probably trusts Jason enough to follow through with his plans, but she knows that as long as Sonny is alive, it won’t be safe for her to return home.
On the flipside, maintaining contact and care of Sam won’t be easy on Jason’s part without Sonny finding out that Sam isn’t really dead.
General Hospital Spoilers — Does This Mean Sam Won’t Be Gone for Good?
The fan base is furious that GH is letting Monaco go, and many of them are hoping she won’t be gone for good. Maybe this death will merely be presumed.
Maybe she’ll disappear or end up in an accident that the authorities deem she could never have survived. Jason knows what he’s doing.
If he wants it to look like she died, it’ll look like she died. But does sending her off with a new identity to live her life away from everyone she loves solve the problem?
Will she settle for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) possibly going to prison and her children losing both their mother and their grandmother?
Is it worth it to stay alive if she can’t be with the people she loves? Will Sam come back — even against Jason’s wishes? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
