General Hospital Spoilers Monday, September 23: Fatherly Advice, Frantic Coverups, Loaded Meetings

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, September 23 tease fatherly advice, frantic covers, and loaded meetings. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) gives fatherly advice, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) frantically tries to cover, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has a loaded meeting.

General Hospital Spoilers: Threats And Denials

In the cozy breakfast nook of the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) is indulging in some delicious-looking brownie treats.

As Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) steps back, she warns him that if he mentions it again, she’ll deny it and threatens to give him a little scare!

Earlier, Gio had a chat with Brook Lynn’s mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), where they compared Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), noting their striking similarities.

Perhaps they’re having a discussion about Sonny and Ned’s similarities. Or, perhaps Gio has picked up on Brook Lynn’s unusual fondness for these snacks and is starting to wonder if there’s a little one on the way!

GH Spoilers: Fatherly Advice

At the Savoy, Curtis engages in a heartfelt conversation with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), offering him some wise fatherly advice; he encourages TJ not to abandon something he truly cares about.

TJ has been grappling with immense stress following the loss of his and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) baby. It seems TJ might be feeling that the weight of the situation is too heavy, leading him to seek distance from Molly instead of drawing closer.

Alternatively, he could be feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of his medical career, facing patients he feels powerless to help. Curtis aims to guide him to reflect on the thoughts that are clearly troubling him.

General Hospital Spoilers: A Heart To Heart Talk

Elsewhere, Molly finds herself in the company of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer); she opens up to him, expressing her feeling that perhaps the universe is sending her a message.

Is she contemplating the same thoughts as TJ, or is she resigning herself to the idea of never becoming a mother? It appears that the universe is conspiring against both her and Molly, especially with her mother behind bars—leaving her feeling helpless!

This is undoubtedly a grave situation, and it seems that fate has intervened, leaving everyone powerless. Dex, as a supportive friend, should encourage her to hold on to hope—he likely wishes he could do more to help.

GH Spoilers: Frantic Covers

In the hospital, Portia frantically covers  as she confronts her irritated co-chief of staff, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), demanding to know why she wasn’t informed about Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) return.

It’s clear that Portia has caught wind of the discovered inconsistencies between two sets of Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood tests.

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) ordered another test and pointed out to head Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that there appeared to be some tampering involved as the reason for the second order.

Portia had secretly accessed Heather’s records on her hospital computer, leading to Heather losing her case and remaining in Pentonville. It’s obvious who will be held responsible for the discrepancies, but can Portia manage to erase her digital footprints from the hospital’s system?

General Hospital Spoilers: Loaded Meetings

At Bobbie’s, Carly has a tense meeting with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) who hints that appearances can be deceiving—could he be alluding to his own nature?

Carly has leveraged their connection trying to persuade him to manipulate WSB resources to locate her cousin Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) in a bid to save Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) life.

Has Brennan uncovered any leads; it’s likely that she’s also anxious about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), as he hasn’t reached out since his trip to Africa.

Jack’s comment about people and things not always being what they seem certainly can’t make Carly feel any better, although she looks him in the eye and smiles. Or maybe that smile is because she’s got him figured out and knows he’s telling on himself!
