If there’s anything that fans have learned about The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden, it’s that he’s someone who doesn’t hold back, especially when it comes to his opinions about some of the things that are going on in the world right now.

And that’s exactly what he did when he expressed his opinion about Donald Trump and his recent remarks suggesting that the Democrats might have been responsible for his second assassination attempt in West Palm Beach over the weekend.

Eric took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to write: “For the ORANGE GUY to blame HARRIS/WALZ for this supposed assassination attempt is sadly typical for that man and his followers! It’s SICK!!”

Of course, many of Eric’s social media followers sure did have a lot to say about the matter in his comments section.

Some of them wrote, “He’s projecting, as usual. His comments about Springfield, Ohio have resulted in multiple bomb threats, school closings/evacuations, and property damage to Haitian migrants who are here LEGALLY.”

“When asked about the bomb threats he was not concerned. He only cares about himself.”

Another critic wrote, “Agreed. Not once have H and W condoned anything of the sort. His projection is off the rails.”

“I just read where SS said there was no line of sight. I want to know if T was wearing a suit while golfing last minute. Sick of his rants and rhetoric, projecting are his truths.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Eric – I have the same thoughts as you. After all, why wasn’t the guy in question charged with an assassination plot? Makes you wonder!”

“Truly sickening but sadly, not surprising. He would do anything to win the election and we already know he’s not beyond lying and cheating.”
