General Hospital Spoilers: What Is Going On With Kelly Monaco Lately?
It has been reported that the soap opera star, who is best known for her role as Sam McCall, is leaving after spending more than two decades on the show. It is being reported that her character is going to be killed off.
When Carolyn Hinsey, of Soap Opera Digest, suggested that Kelly lost her job simply because she was calling off too much, the internet went off.
Carolyn wrote on her X account, “Not surprising considering how much work Kelly has missed in the last few years and how much money #GH spent on emergency recasting. I hope she’s okay.”
Kelly’s old pal Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, did hint a little but about Kelly’s firing on his Daily Drama podcast, but refused to go in any further details.
In fact, he said that he didn’t know anything about Kelly being let go and was just as clueless as all of the General Hospital fans out there.
The last time that Kelly had a public relationship was with her ex-boyfirend and former co-star, Billy Miller. But as many General Hospital fans know, Billy took his own life back in September 2023.

I resonate as I reflect on the death of my 27-year-old son and all the grief in my life and then the death of my husband,! I All the Grief I felt completely buried me many times . Whatever is happening with Kelly I trust that she will find the help that she needs. Prayers and hugs to her.
Kelly minoco needs to leave G.H. and take time to heal . mentel health is importent from losing a mate and from the fire in her yard. killing her off is a sure sign she will return better and more alive than ever.I mean look at Jason,Tracy,Jason,Ryan,Jason,Sonny,Ryan i mean look.
