That’s because viewers of the show are making it also clear that they are none too pleased that the soap has fired one of their longtime stars, actress Kelly Monaco, who is best known for her role as Sam McCall.
When Frank shared a preview of the latest episode of General Hospital and captioned it with, “An insanely alive and all-new #GH is coming your way!” it didn’t take very long for his followers to share what’s been on their mind.
Many of them wrote, “Hi Frank, unfortunately, I won’t be watching, this is because I am very heartbroken that the show decided to fire Kelly. I am hoping this decision can be changed as I strongly feel #GH @ABCNetwork should #KeepKelly on @GeneralHospital.”
Another critic wrote, “You know who should stay alive & be on all-new #GH episodes? Sam McCall. The way you are trying to erase this iconic character is shameful. Fix this now.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I stand with Kelly Monaco!! You need to bring her back as these storylines are really getting worse and worse!! Now Sonny is gonna go to jail give me a break!! Get rid of Cates and rehire Kelly!!”
“You know what else is insanely alive? Our love for Kelly and Sam!! We hope your unfortunate decision is changed once you get back to the #gh lot!! You guys are basically killing the soap.”
So far Frank Valentini himself has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that he will. Kelly Monaco has also not commented on her firing. Watch this space as we will update you with all of the latest details.

I’m glad that he got rid of her. She was starting to wear on my nerves. She comes on with a Hollier than thou attitude. And as far as I am concerned she no better than anybody else. And her wanting Danny to stay away from Jason was a stupid mistake, because he was doing what he was, because she wouldn’t let him see his own father.
Sam was being a good mom, Jason has been in and out of Danny’s life. Yes first time he had no choice, but the second time he put Carly’s freedom first before his son. Also after the first time he came back he kept putting Carly, Sonny and their kids before his own children maybe Sam is only try to protect Danny not only physically hurt but emotionally hurt, because let’s be honest for some reason or another Jason will always put Carly, Michael and the rest of Carly’s kids as well as Sonny first and Sam knowsthis. Now if you have kids wouldn’t you do the same because I know would.

Has nothing to do with Sam. The writers write her that way. We all know Sam wouldn’t characteristicly act like this. Writers were told she’s being fired and write her in a corner!! So yes FV and his cronies are responsible…
The present writers suck They have no idea how they are killing the show. It’s become a joke! they get rid of good, no, great people and put in Idiots who can’t act. Do you want the show to fail???
Bullied? So now voicing a negative opinion is called bullying? If that’s the case, then nearly the entire cast, crew, writers and all the higher ups, have been severely bullied for months, or even years, every single day. Where do you draw the line between opinions and bullying? Frank is in charge, so of course he’s the one people go after for what they consider stupid, lame brain, decisions.
Screw you Frank! A 5th grader can write this story better than you! Kristina is already going thru something then you want to kill her stage sister Sam off the show. Sonny will go to jail and god knows what you’re doing to Lulu storyline. Then you messed up Michael and Willow! I hear Kristina is leaving and going to the other soap that’s left. You writers are doing a piss poor job! Just cancel the damn show already!
I have been watching GH for over 50 years. It’s getting to be my time to give it up. The new story lines are horrible. And now you break up Michael and Willow… get rid of Drew. He’s a whining excuse for a past hero. Cates and Ava could both go…. forget it- you don’t listen to fans anyway. I certainly could find something better to do at 3 every day.
Poor Frank! People love Sam, people hate Sam; people love Sonny, people hate Sonny; people love Willow, people hate Willow; people love Drew, people hate Drew; people love Ava, people hate Ava, and on and on and on…! We are an entitled people who want what we want when and how! We want too much and think too little! Why can’t we just quit trying to dictate what should happen and watch it or not!! We have the option! But shut up and don’t keep complaining until it’s taken away! Poor Frank.
I don’t think kelly monoco is importent anymore.She has lost her passion for acting also the wimen who plays Alexis needs to be fired no one likes her and she is more about the politics than G.H..Good bye kelly find your passiin somewhere like hallmark.keep kristina she is best kristina ever but you need to recast molly cause she sucks at acting
