Everyone grows and changes throughout their lives but lately Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) has underwent what seems to be a major personality change after she and Liam Spencer (Scot Clifton) called it quits.
So much so that fans are having trouble recognizing this once fine, upstanding young woman as the character we all grew to love.
Back when the Hope/Liam/Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInness Wood) triangle was still raging on we had an inkling that Hope and Steffy would always compete for at least one man’s attention l, but we always thought that honor belonged to Liam… not necessarily.
Paging Dr. John Finnegan!
Looks like the honor seems to belong to any man that Steffy currently has her hooks in, and right now she is all snuggly with Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), that is when he isn’t getting cozy with Hope in the corner at Forrester work events – ahem.
Most recently, during Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damien) performance at Forrester Creations, she backed Finn up and laid a giant smooch on him right where anyone (including Steffy) could have walked in and caught them.
Granted, Hope’s antics were fueled by all the alcohol she had been downing and we guess Finn just looked irresistible, just standing there minding his own business.
Finn pushed her away, which, good on him, he is involved and consent is still a thing and clearly he didn’t give consent to being tackled. But what else is she going to get up to?
What is bothering her, really?
Could it be her split from Liam is getting to her? Could she truly have real feelings for Finn? Is the stress that Steffy is throwing at her about her line too much for her to handle?
There was that minor incident with Thomas back in July where he told her he needed her – could that possibly be weighing on her mind?
She did sort of freak out when he went back to Paris. Where is her young daughter in all of this? You know, the one that she and Liam fought so hard to have together?
What about Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri)? It could be any one of those things that is getting to her and making her act erratic.
Did Taylor come back into town just in time?
Dr. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) might be able to help Hope with some coping mechanism considering she is a professional, but therein lies the rub.
Taylor, if she were so inclined, would have every reason to gaslight Hope and submarine her mental health in order to make sure that her own daughter, Steffy, came out on top. Perhaps Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) would get Hope as sort of a consolation prize after all is said and done.
In a perfect world, Taylor would value her professional reputation over such a move but this isn’t a perfect world, this is LA and seediness abounds. We’ll just have to see what Hope’s next move is… stay tuned!!!
