The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Thorsten Kaye knows what it takes to win a Daytime Emmy. And sometimes you just have to keep things more dramatic than light. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thorsten Kaye Knows What It Takes To Win
In a new interview with Daytime Confidential, Thorsten said that he knows that comedy doesn’t often do well when it comes to daytime television and the Daytime Emmys.
That’s why he often submits his most heaviest scenes for his reel.
The handsome actor put it this way, “You know, that’s a really short reign! It would have been nice to reign a little longer without that kind of pressure on you.”
“People like the heavy stuff, right? Funny stuff doesn’t win! It’s always tears and people dying and stuff. I got to work with the great John McCook.”
“ Honestly, what we do together doesn’t even matter. I just love spending time with that man. It was a little tough doing a scene where he may not be coming back to us, but he’s here. He’s working, and he’s alright.”
Thorsten talked about Ridge’s big scene in which he had to make a decision on whether or not he should pull the plug on his father, Eric Forrester. It was definitely a scene that fans are not going to forget anytime soon.
