His recent decision to get down and dirty with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is bound to stir up some opinions — and emotions — among those who know Drew.
While the voters may not care who a single man spends his time with, they could question his judgment in getting intimate with the woman who ratted him out to the SEC for insider trading. Still, it’ll be easier to answer to the public than his peers on this one.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Got Curious
When Drew stopped by Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place to share the news of his possible run for office, she was shocked that he was considering such a move.
It didn’t dawn on her how this might impact her life until Drew made it clear that the press and his opposition would likely dredge up his past mistakes — some of which she was intertwined with.
Carly was on board with enduring whatever they throw her way if this is what Drew really wants, but she did question whether that’s the case.
She also questioned how he came to be in talks with Congressman Larry McConkey (Sam McMurray), too, but she didn’t clap back when Drew told her they met through Nina.
Of course, that’s not where the story ends, and we have a feeling Carly would be stunned to learn the rest of it.
GH Spoilers Say Nina is More Invested Than Drew
The writing is on the wall when it comes to Drew and Nina. He’s grateful for the introduction to Congressman McConkey, but Drew is already moving on from any daytime fantasies of Nina and into a world of daydreaming about what his life might be like if he fills his seat in Congress.
Nina, on the other hand, is still thinking about when her next romp with Drew might be and how she can work her current entanglement with him to her advantage — especially when it comes to getting more involved in the New Tomorrow project with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
General Hospital Spoilers — The Truth Always Comes Out
Drew is certainly expecting that the media will tout his service in the military as a NAVY Seal, as well as his heroic effort to bring Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) home in time to save Willow’s life as reasons to vote for him.
However, the opposition media will also be digging up any dirt they can on how Drew is spending his time when he’s not out playing superhero.
Afternoon dalliances at the office with the woman who sent him to prison are certain to make headlines — and enemies. How will Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) take that news?
What will Willow think of Drew and her mother hooking up behind her back? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
