The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Cuts Nikki Loose, Victor Doles Out Michael’s Punishment, Summer & Sally Call a Truce

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 31 show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) agree to a temporary work situationship despite past animosity.

As a result Sally is approved to pick up the slack left behind by Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) who is dealing with her son’s sudden OCD diagnosis.

This means that Sally takes over the reins at Marchetti, and we have a sneaking suspicion she won’t be eager to relinquish them when Chelsea is ready to return.

Y&R spoilers: Ashley In Paris

Just when we thought the Paris saga with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) wouldn’t get any more strange, the writers have given us a man who appears to be Alan’s evil twin or doppelgänger.

There is no clue in Friday’s spoilers about Ashley or Alan so it looks like we’ll have wait until the week of June 3-7 to see what direction this tortured plot takes.

What we can tell you is that Ashley will eventually discover more about what caused her to splinter internally, how it relates to the odd twin twist, and any subsequent horror that follows.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Jack the Bearer of Bad News

Elsewhere, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) delivers bad, sad news to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). It turns out that his wife Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) doesn’t think he should be Nikki’s AA sponsor so Mrs. Newman will need to find someone else willing to risk/lose his life for her.

Jack is impeccably contrite about this bit of bad news, but he has no choice, Diane has threatened to leave him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Nikki Understands

Nikki understands Jack’s dilemma, plus Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t want Jack and Nikki spending time together either. Nikki gracefully accepts Jack’s backing out and is grateful that he saved her life.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victor’s Punishment

Meanwhile, Victor tells Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) the price he’ll pay for his betrayal.

Michael and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) forced Victor to release Jordan (Colleen Zenk) from the underground prison and of course there will be repercussions.

Will Victor fire his lawyer? Clearly, Victor cannot trust him anymore so how can he continue working with him? Michael will learn what happens when a person is foolish enough to cross the Great Victor Newman!
