General Hospital Spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has missed quite a lot in the time that he’s been away. Learning that Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman) is dead is only the first surprise he’ll encounter as he starts to wake up from the bubble he’s been living in and realizes everyone he left behind hasn’t been there waiting for him.
Coming Up On General Hospital
Next, he’ll find out Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is dead — and that she died in a brutal way that he will feel he could have protected her from if he had been here.
But the most interesting development he missed is that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) fell in love with his twin brother, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) — and now they’re over.
Jason’s return was a death knell Carly didn’t see coming, but couldn’t argue with. How will she explain that?
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Tells the Truth
Carly will have quite a lot to fill Jason in on, and the romantic events of her life are the last thing on the list that she wants to dive into. But she’ll have to tell him about the last year of her life and the difference that Drew made in it.
After all, the man went to prison for her — much the same way she knew Jason would have. He helped her heal following her mother’s death.
He helped her make peace with her past in Jacksonville. He was the surrogate Jason when she needed him, but now that the OG is back, she doesn’t.
GH Spoilers Claim Drew is Brutally Honest
Hearing it from Carly’s lips that Drew could never replace him is one thing, but when Jason’s own brother is frank enough to tell him Carly is still in love with him, it’s bound to have an effect.
Let’s be honest. We knew this the moment Carly and Jason laid eyes on each other in her living room. She wasn’t just happy that her friend was back from the grave — and his tears weren’t all from pain.
He didn’t want to leave her; he never wanted to leave her. Drew could read the writing on the wall, and now he may suggest Jason does the same.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Reunites with Someone?
While we’re all hoping Carly and Jason find themselves finally consummating their relationship at some point, it may not be that cut and dry.
Jason comes back from the dead and he and Carly live happily ever after? Not so fast. We know these storylines take longer than that. It’s possible that Jason won’t return Carly’s feelings.
Or, at the very least, he may not be willing to show her that he does even though she knows better. Will he once again feel like he has invaded someone else’s territory — this time his brother’s instead of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard)?
Might that lead him to try to mend the rift between Carly and Drew — or will she be honest enough with him and herself to tell him who she really wants? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
