General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Turned Off By Drew’s Darkness And Demands, Reunites With Sonny?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could get turned off by Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) recent darkness and demanding ways!

Drew has done a ninety-nine degree turnaround and both Carly and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have noticed-and it’s not for the better-might Carly be drawn back to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain “Strongly Encouraged” Carly Spencer

When Drew gave Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) the boot at Crimson Magazine, he brought in a power-dressed Carly as new editor-in-chief right in front of Nina.

Wow—talk about stirring the pot; not that Carly didn’t relish the look on her rival’s face, shortly thereafter throwing Nina’s nameplate in the trash, showing her true opinion of Nina.

But this type of overbearing behavior is uncharacteristic of Drew and borderline controlling-as Carly soon realized, when he practically forced her into actually doing the editor job.

The couple had a serious discussion with Carly reminding him her editor-in-chief position was temporary, and only a figurehead. Her heart is at Bobbie’s, where she is honoring her mother’s memory-but Drew wasn’t having it, he hired her as editor!

GH Spoilers: Being Controlled Is A Turn-Off For Carly Spencer

Carly rather begrudgingly caved and told Drew she’s do it, it looks like he’s trying to do a redo of when he and Sam were married and founded Aurora.

But Carly’s heart isn’t in Aurora and running Crimson Magazine, actually her cousin Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) would have been a much better fit. But Lulu’s still in an indeterminate coma since the Floating Rib blew up and therefore not available, and Carly looked the part in that power suit.

But Drew’s control mechanisms are becoming over the top as far as Carly’s concerned, and sooner or later it will cause a distance between them. Before long, Carly will start to drift away, and she may just drift away back to Sonny, since he’ll likely divorce Nina!

General Hospital Spoilers: It Would Be Drew Cain’s Own Fault

Although there is likely something under the surface that is causing this change in Drew-it could be a brain tumor, driving this change-losing Carly would be his own fault.

Even if said tumor was benign, it could be causing changes in the thinking/reasoning center of Drew’s brain as well as his temper! Either way, Drew continuing to be controlling and doing un-Drew-like things like screwing over Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) with a hostile takeover of ELQ will be a turnoff for Carly.

Carly and Sonny have been divorced and remarried to each other several times already, and they always circle back to each other, like it’s destiny. No one will be surprised if they wind up together again!
