General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, January 18 tease surprise visits, family updates, and friendly commiserating.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) gets a surprise visit, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) gives a family update and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) do some friendly commiserating.
General Hospital Spoilers: Surprise Visits
Kristina gets a surprise visit from Blaze, (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) who has some questions-she wants to know why it feels like Kristina has started to lean away.
Blaze and she had started to become a couple, even though they kept it private because of Blaze’s homophobic family. If Kristina’s leaning away, it is probably because Blaze wasn’t the most supportive of the surrogacy situation.
Kristina is both the egg donor and the surrogate for TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Blaze wasn’t the most supportive. Kristina is also preparing for pregnancy so perhaps she’s been a little preoccupied, and also supporting her father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
GH Spoilers: Family Updates
Elsewhere, TJ is having a fancy meal at a nice place with his mother, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and updates her on the family situation.
TJ asks her if she’s comfortable with Kristina being their surrogate. Jordan doesn’t look the most agreeable if you go by the look on her face-she definitely looks like she has her concerns.
These kinds of agreements can so often go wrong, with surrogates becoming attached to the babies they’re supposed to turn over. But, at least Kristina will still be related to the baby she’ll be her aunt-and Molly will be related as well.
General Hospital Spoilers: Questions And Answers
In Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hospital room, he questions a visitor as to what makes them think they can trust him. It could be Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) seeing if Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) uncle might know where he went with Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay). Or, knowing that Cyrus at least was a mobster she might think he’s got a network of henchmen who can look for him.
Chances are Cyrus’ loyalty would be to Nikolas or Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) although he does realize Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is close to her baby grandson. He might be able to do something, although limited.
GH Spoilers: Disappointment
Esme may be talking to Cyrus, since spoilers tease she goes to an unexpected source for help. But she’s obviously disappointed that he can’t do more, since she looks in shock as she asks if that’s all he can do?!
She was going to the PCPD to have Nikolas and Spencer arrested for kidnapping but Spencer blackmailed her with her former charges being reinstated. Esme’s becoming more desperate by the moment to find her son-Cyrus might tell her to trust in her grandmother to help!
General Hospital Spoilers: Mother-Son Talk At The Quartermaine Mansion
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are still at the Quartermaine mansion in the aftermath of the truth coming out about Michael’s blackmail and keeping secrets.
She tells her son keeping things buried can have unintended consequences. Michael is finding that out-Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) won’t talk to him she’s so angry.
He and the kids are living in the Quartermaine mansion while Willow is still in the Quartermaine gatehouse. He doesn’t know if she’ll ever forgive him.
GH Spoilers: Friendly Commiserating
Elsewhere, Drew and Anna are doing a little friendly commiserating about the things they’ve been going through. However, Drew passes something by Anna that may be either a realization or a new discovery about an old situation.
He tells her he might be onto something-question is, why is he talking to Anna? He may be talking to her about some of the changes in himself that others have noticed-Anna can help if his old brainwashing might be triggering! Or might it be about something else entirely?
