Steve Burton is returning to Port Charles to reprise his role as Jason Morgan. But does anyone really care anymore? That seems to be the question of the day. It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some of them wrote comments such as, “I just don’t understand what is left for Jason. He’s got maybe one decent story left and that’s the fallout of him marrying Carly and how that’ll impact things with Sonny but like who cares Sonny has moved on,” along with, “I see people wanting him to be Jason Q but again why? Monica is not around anymore, all the other Qs who would care are dead. It would just be Carly weeping about how unfair it is that Jason isn’t worshiping her day and night while she sleeps with his brother.”
Another General Hospital critic wrote, “Unpopular opinion I know, but if anything he should be on Y&R. That’s the last time he seemed interested in acting and he was good with Sharon Case.”

With that said, it seems like the producers of the show might have waited just a little bit too long to bring back Jason Morgan as no one seems to be as interested in his comeback anymore. I’m in the “I don’t care” group; however, if he’s given a decent storyline, that could change. I’m more upset Marcus Coloma didn’t come back as Nicholas. While Tyler Christopher (RIP) was my all time fave, Marcus has been the only actor to come close. And Emme Ryland should come back as Lulu, or pretty soon she’ll be in the same situation.
