Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that actress Emily O’Brien has done an incredible job transitioning from Gwen Rizczech to Theresa Donovan.
As Theresa continues her scheme to get Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) to put a ring on it, it looks as if the plan is about to crumble. Will Ms. Donovan flee town only for Ms. Rizczech to return?
DOOL Spoilers: The Truth Is Very Close To Being Revealed
Days spoilers suggest Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) seem adamant about getting to the truth of what Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) is all about.
Of course, he’s dead set on scoring Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) fortune, and he believes the only way to do this is by duping Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) into marrying him. While he and Theresa aren’t exactly co-conspirators, he knows that she forged Victor’s letters.
She felt as if Xander Kiriakis Cook (Paul Telfer) didn’t deserve his rightful inheritance and thinking on her feet, she not only chose Alex as the appropriate replacement, but she realized that in doing so, she may be able to score an inheritance and new romance of her own.
Still, there’s a major gap in their plan and a plot twist could have her leaving Salem, as fast as she stormed in.
DOOL Spoilers: The Shane Donovan Factor
Steve and John smell a rat where Baby Victoria’s kidnapping is concerned. They believe Konstantin set the entire thing up to look like a hero, and they aren’t wrong; however, they are puzzled as to who his accomplice would be since he doesn’t seemingly have friends in Salem, other than Maggie.
Theresa helped the Greek with the entire scheme, and while John and Steve scored video evidence of the “kidnapper”, they couldn’t see who was behind the hoodie.
They sent the information to their pal, ISA agent, Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy), who also happens to be Theresa’s dad.
There’s a good chance that Shane won’t reveal the kidnapper’s identity until he has a chance to speak with his daughter, first. Shane’s a good person, but Theresa is his child. He likely won’t throw her under the bus, but he will encourage her to come clean or leave town.
Days Spoilers: Goodbye Theresa, Hello Gwen!
As the truth is about to hit the fan, Theresa will scramble and leave town. After all, there’s been hints that Ms. Donovan’s run wasn’t meant for the long haul.
Much like when initially left, DOOL will likely be cheeky about the role reversal, having Theresa walk away from Salem (drive/fly/get on a bus), only to have Gwen saunter back in.
As Gwen’s name has been dropped a lot lately, with even a surprise scene between her and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) via a phone call, there’s a good chance Ms. Rizczech’s hiatus from Salem will come to an end soon.
Chad is suddenly single, and the two once did share an affair. They seemed on good terms during the sale of Spectator, so could Gwen return and jump into a romance with her sister’s husband (again)?

I thought Emily did a lousy job portraying Theresa Donovan! It seemed like that British accent slipped out every once in a while. If more time had passed between when she played Gwen and Theresa, she might have been better. But Gwen was gone in one scene, and the next scene she was Theresa. Just didn’t work for me.
Agree! Big mistake.
I agree also, she was awful as Theresa, I noticed accent slips, and the facial expressions. I personally don’t care for Gwen either. But would rather have
Gwen than have her play Theresa again.
