General Hospital Spoilers: Adam’s Father Is No Longer A Mystery For Fans
Who is Adam’s father on General Hospital? There’s strong speculation that it might either be Sonny Corinthos (as if he needs more children!) or Pikeman. It would make sense for Adam’s father to be Pikeman seeing how they both seem to have an agenda in Port Charles.
Many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about this storyline on social media. Some even commented with, “I literally have no interest at all in this character and wonder why he was created? He just seems there to whine and push his problems on Josslyn. His literal first scene on the show showed him as a creep,” along with, “It’s probably Pikeman. Just another way for the Bensons to reconnect themselves to Sonny. I like Adam and I want to see where this goes.”
Another General Hospital fan wrote, “GH does not need another character and the fact that MB is his dad is not doing him any favors, it’s too much nepotism. He has potential, but needs some more acting classes and a different soap so he can spread his wings and not be in the shadow of his father.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I don’t know, but this story can go so many ways. He’s got me feeling very maternal wanting to protect him. So sad the pressure he’s putting on himself. Good story and acting. Joshua/Adam are doing Great. He actually makes the Josslyn character more interesting.”

I think everyone is missing the point of Adams character, it is showing us all the fact of how parents put so much pressure on their children to succeed and be who they want them to be and it is literally causing their children to suicidal tendencies. The show is focusing more on real life issues rather than taking people away from their own issues. I personally like the old General Hospital writers with the mob scenes. These issues in the characters lives I feel hit too many real life issues that bring up bad memories.
I agree Ressie completely. I think it is important The Adams storyline . He really wants to do music but is being pushed by his dad to go into medicine and though very smart the stress of premed trying to be perfect for his dads approval could lead him to a suicide attempt or success unless Josh or Trina save him . Maurice has bipolar disorder and his son may have inherited it too. Mental illness awareness is a worthy cause and Maurice’s show State of mind his podcast is very popular and timely. I had a bipolar son who committed suicide in 2010 and so it’s a issue important to me as well I don’t want to see more and more parents of young teens in my suicide support group for parents . Kids as young as 11 taking their lives . More awareness needed.
I agree. I don’t watch General Hospital for accurate real life scenarios, for me it’s my personal hour long escapism from the day to day realism’s that happen on the regular. I NEVER watch scenes where the actors die after a long drawn out desease. I see enough of that every single day.
I like Adam, and hope that they keep him on General Hospital! And I pray that Nina is given leniency and that her, and Sonny stayed together happily!
