Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Nicole Walker DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will insist that Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) adopted son is her own.
While Sloan scrambles to make sure her tracks are covered, Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) confronts the sleazy lawyer.
Dimitri isn’t pleased to learn that the baby never arrived at the hospital and threatens to expose the horrendous truth. Meanwhile, Eric gets a DNA test done on the little boy.
Nicole Walker DiMera’s Declaration
DOOL spoilers reveal that Nicole and Eric run into each other in the Horton Town Square. Nicole has just been released from the hospital after being told her baby died. Of course, fans know that Nicole’s baby is alive and well, being passed off as Eric and Sloan’s adoptive son.
Nicole asks to hold Eric’s baby, but when she holds the newborn, she studies his face. Suddenly, Nicole declares that the baby Eric and Sloan adopted is her “dead” son.
Eventually, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) tries to calm down Nicole. Both EJ and Eric try to be sensitive to Nicole, especially after everything she’s gone through.
However, Nicole will not let go of the idea that Sloan’s baby is hers. According to Vaughan’s interview with Soap Opera Digest, Nicole informs Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) of her suspicions.
DOOL Spoilers: Holly Jonas’ Intel
During the week of November 27, Eric and the baby return home to Sloan. Eric tells Sloan about the incident with Nicole. Even though Sloan is secretly panicking, she plays it cool and Eric buys it.
However, over at the DiMera mansion, Nicole tells Holly about her suspicions. That leads to Holly taking drastic action.
Eric Brady’s DNA Test
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Holly has always been close to Eric and thinks of him more as a father figure than EJ. So, Holly doesn’t think twice about going to Eric with an idea.
Holly suggests that Eric get a DNA test done on the baby just to be sure. If Nicole is just grief-stricken, then at least Eric knows there is no truth to her claim.
This is the exact reason why Eric gets the baby tested without Sloan’s knowledge. It’s not intentional as Eric doesn’t have time to tell Sloan about it.
So, Eric thinks Sloan won’t have any issues with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) doing a test on the baby. Imagine Sloan’s reaction when she learns what Eric has done!
It would be too suspicious for Sloan to rush to the hospital after finding out about Eric’s DNA test on the baby. So, Sloan will probably text or call Melinda, who will in turn contact the devious doctor. That all takes time, though. Plus, the doctor seems unwilling to go any further than he already has.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Dimitri von Leuschner’s Redemption
If you are wondering how Dimitri’s redemption fits into all of this, it was teased in the weekly preview clip. Dimitri learns that Sloan and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) never took the baby to the hospital. That is what was promised when Dimitri showed up at Sloan’s door.
So, Dimitri probably finds out about Nicole’s baby dying after a phone call with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Plus, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) offers Leo a deal, which might be finding out where Dimitri is.
Leo will probably agree now that he believes Nicole’s baby died. Leo might be a lot of things, but helping deliver Nicole’s baby did seem to have an impact on him.
So, the next time that Leo and Dimitri talk on the phone, Nicole’s baby dying will be mentioned. That is when Dimitri will need to tell Leo about Sloan and Melinda. Even if Sloan and Melinda manage to tamper with the baby’s DNA test, Dimitri and Leo might earn redemption through this. After all, Dimitri is in dire need of a redemption story. Could this be it?
