General Hospital spoilers say that he’s gone, but is he really gone for good? That’s what fans want to know as some eagle-eyed viewers have noticed that Roger Howarth’s name has been officially removed from the General Hospital closing credits.
We all sure know what that means. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital New: Roger Howarth Officially Removed From Closing Credits
As many daytime television fans know by now, Roger’s contract with General Hospital has not been renewed. And while this is sad news for Roger’s fans, it is also an indication that they won’t be seeing him again when they find his character Austin’s corpse.
In other words, Roger’s time with the hit daytime television soap has come to an end, sadly.
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “He deserved better than this crappy storyline they gave him anyway.
I love Roger, wish him all the best. This is such a slap in the face to Roger & frankly to his legion of fans as well. Frank Valentini should be fired,” along with, “Nobody at GH seems to be wondering why one of their doctors hasn’t shown up for work in days. I didn’t care for the Austin character, but that’s just dirty of them to kill him off like this, just like he never existed.”
Another General Hospital critic wrote, “They’ve also removed him from the opening sequence on Hulu..I’m hoping it’s only temporary while they decide what to do..they’d be very foolish to get rid of one of the best actors in daytime.
I hated when they killed him off as Franco. He was the best with Elizabeth. This character Austin was horrible! Poor Roger.”
General Hospital New: Will Roger Ever Come Back?
So far Roger himself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that he will. General Hospital airs on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
