General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) strategize.
They have to come up with a new plan to take over ELQ now that Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) regained his memories.
General Hospital Spoilers: If You Don’t Succeed At First—
Drew and Michael had been talking about finishing taking over ELQ, now that Drew was out of Pentonville-Drew had started the conversation.
This was what their plans were when the merger attempt was happening but it all backfired on them, royally. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knew about it from Drew and bought a bunch of Aurora stock to inflate the prices-so, they actually are guilty of insider trading.
But now that Drew’s out and Carly’s running Kelly’s and things are halfway getting back to normal, they’d decided to try the buyout again.
There didn’t seem to be any hindrances, with Ned thinking he was Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) needing to handle Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) crisis.
GH Spoilers: An Unexpected Complication
But now, there’s been an unexpected complication to their takeover plans-and they have to strategize, Drew says considering Ned’s situation with getting his memory back.
Ned is back to being Ned, they have to come up with a new game plan for ELQ as a result – Michael says that hasn’t changed his mind. They still have to move forward, of course; Drew says of course we do, but it might just be easier said than done-Michael says he knows.
Michael continues, saying they have to do what is best for the company and ELQ has been unstable for almost a year, between Ned’s erratic behavior and Valentin’s absences.
Michael continues, saying that they’re still on shaky ground, while Drew talks about their whole plan being predicated on Eddie staying Eddie, and that’s no longer the case.
General Hospital Spoilers: An Unexpected Visitor, And It’s Showtime!
The two men continue to talk about coming up with a new strategy, when the phone on Michael’s desk rings-he answers, and tells the receptionist to send him up.
Michael tells Drew Ned’s here, and it’s showtime-they’ll have to come up with a very quick strategy, but Ned will blindside them with what he’s there for. Ned will tell them there’s something they need to know about the SEC charges, and they’ll know he’s there to clear his name.
Michael knows Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) was the whistleblower, not Ned, through Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Drew doesn’t, but the blindsiding part comes when Ned tells them he knows who it was!
