The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 11 show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his hot-headed black sheep son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) verbally spar for a couple of rounds—will anything change between them?
Let’s face it, these two have been on the love-hate merry-go-round ever since Adam learned of his heritage.
It’s must easier to blame Victor for all of his problems than it is for Adam to hoist his petard and take accountability. Maybe this time will be different?
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Adam and His Lack of Accountability
Don’t kill the messenger, but here’s what we know: Victor gives Adam one last chance to prove himself. Oy vey.
Victor kicked Adam out of the family company in order to teach him a lesson, namely humility. Afterward Adam swore up and down to his business partner and ex, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), that he has seen the light and will now change.
Sharon knows better, but she believed him. Apparently Victor does the same.
Victor tells his wayward son that if he can straighten up and fly right, he could have another crack at joining Newman Enterprises.
Y&R spoilers: Will Adam Straighten Out?
Victor wasn’t born yesterday however, so he tells Adam that he has to prove that he’s turned a corner before he can gain a foothold at NE. In other words, trust must be regained.
Adam has a choice—he can buy what he’s selling and truly change, or he can go on being Adam and take advantage of his father’s endless goodwill (and guilt).
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Nick’s Future
Elsewhere, Adam’s better brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), considers Sharon’s idea to join forces at Kirsten Incorporated, just the two of them.
She promises it will work out without meddling Victor and saboteur Adam lurking in the shadows.
In the end Nick agrees to Sharon’s proposition but his GF Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has to catch her breath at the idea.
Does she really want Nick spending so much time with his baby momma? This decision could bring out Sally’s insecure, devious side–or send her straight back into Adam’s arms!
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Nick’s Choice
This means that Nick turns down Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) co-CEO position and she wastes no time trying to promote Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Except that daddy dearest puts the kibosh on that fantasy and explosive show spoilers tease that Victor may just retake the CEO spot all for himself!
