General Hospital Comings And Goings: Vincent Irizzary To Take Over The Role Of Nikolas Cassadine?

General Hospital spoilers say that even fans know that sooner or later he’s going to have to come back. But there’s just one problem – who is going to take over the role? Of course, we are talking about Nikolas Cassadine. It seems like there are some pretty big shoes to fill as a lot of people just can’t help but wonder if Nikolas will ever reappear in this fictional town of Port Charles again. Here’s what you need to know.

General Hospital Comings And Goings: Vincent Irizzary To Take Over The Role Of Nikolas Cassadine?

The role of Nikolas Cassadine was perhaps made most famous by actor Tyler Christopher. The role was then given to Marcus Coloma before he was given the boot. Actor Adam Huss also took on the role temporarily. And now there’s speculation that a new ‘big’ name might bring the role back, like Vincent Irizzary or even Eddie Cibrian. At least, that’s what some General Hospital fans are hoping for. That should would be great, right?

So, is Nikolas coming back before the end o the year? It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Yeah, they really need that Nikolas recast for this fall. I suppose they could just get Adam Huss to do it, but knowing Frank he’d want more of a name for the role,” along with, “Vincent Irizarry is a good actor & could play a Cassadine well. I’d say he’s too old but then I think about NuMolly.”

Another critic wrote, “If they cast someone older than Genie Francis to play her son, she should throw her shoe at Frank. Like Tyler Christopher was already pushing it age wise.”

And then there was this comment as well, “I didn’t like Huss at all, he’s probably my least favorite Nik.    I’d rather have Coloma back.    What’s Chris Beetem doing now??  Nick Stabile was decent in the role.   Jordi Vilasuso would be good.   Eddie Cibrian would be perfect but I’m sure they can’t get him.”

So far the producers of General Hospital have not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
