General Hospital spoilers say it seems like the producers are getting it wrong more than they are getting it right these days. Apparently, many fans of the show are none too pleased with the fact that actress Brooke Anne Smith is playing the new Molly on the show. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital News: Is Brooke Anne Smith The Wrong Age For Molly?
Now, fans aren’t upset with Brooke and her acting ability. Instead, they are upset that she is 39 and that she looks almost the same age as her much older sister, Sam McCall on the show. Something just isn’t right with the casting and that’s why many General Hospital fans are up in arms over it. Couldn’t they find an actress that at least looked a little younger or closer to Halley Pullos’ age? That’s what fans want to know.
Of course, many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “I’m not trying to shame anyone but these scenes with Sam and her are weird. She looks the same age as Sam (possibly older). It’s really weird,” along with, “Whatttttt?! That is ridiculous – Kate Mansi should have just switched to play Molly then!! This recast is so jarring! I can’t with her!! And the scene isn’t helping!!”
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Molly?
There was this comment as well: “At this point, Alexis raised all three #DavisGirls as a teen mom. Just change Sam’s last name to Jerome-Davis. These girls are getting closer and closer in age and we watched Sam in her twenties juggling her baby and 5yo sisters, while Alexis was comatose.”
So far the producers of the show haven’t made any comments about the criticism. But if they do end up recasting Molly with a fourth actress, that will definitely throw fans in a loop. There are only so many Mollys we can take in such a short time period! With that said, General Hospital fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
